Hometown Sheds of North Carolina Reviews (7)

I am rejecting this response because: the conduit has been removed at my expense (once again) and mike was notified and they still have not made the repairs and I have not heard from them (like always) If they would like to contact me [redacted] and set up a date that fits my work schedule that would be fine, if they just want to drop off all the panels for the walls and all the damaged roof panels ( I have pictures of them) I will repair the building my self, if its too much trouble for them Let me know Thanks ***

The claim that we were reformed of the conduit being removed is false We have reviewed all email correspondence from Mr*** and our notes from our phone conversations and there has been no mention of this We are more than willing to provide the panels for Mr*** and will be contacting him today to schedule this

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/07/06) */
Customer inspected the building prior to purchasing it. There were some nails missing and these nails were replaced by a trained factory technician. The customer was only instructed by the sales person that the corner would be repaired. She...

was not told the "bent" nails would be replaced. These "bent" nails are a cosmetic issue on the shed and do not affect the warranty at all. The manufacturer has informed us the warranty is still in effect. The "bent" nails are actually nails that the heads are bent slightly. It is not a quality concern and is only a cosmetic issue. I will have another member of our delivery/repair crew go back to the customer site to inspect the damage and will make additional repairs if needed. However, the "bent" nails will not be replace.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/07/07) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The siding is coming off the front. The siding pulled away from the nails. Nails are still there but siding came off them. it could have happened from them bringing it to the house. It wasn't like that when we purchased it. Also could have happened from the shed settling. Still under warranty. We didn't do a thorough walk around to look. The color of the shed made it hard to see nails. I only seen them when the sun hit siding at home. I still want it to look like what I paid for and not a irregular/second.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2016/09/22) */
Customer is scheduled for touch up paint of the discolored paint on 9-23-16. I met customer on site and informed them the bent nails were not going to be repaired. I also informed her the warranty on the shed is still in place and the nails did not void the warranty.
Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 18, 2016/09/27) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
No one came out and painted on 09/23/2016. The guy told me to match the side they would need to paint the entire side.

We were willing to make the necessary repairs for customer [redacted].  However, Mr. [redacted] has installed electrical conduit in the areas where the scratched panels that we have to replace are....

We informed Mr. [redacted] that we could make the repairs if the electrical conduit is removed.  He is unwilling to remove the conduit so the repairs cannot be made.

I am rejecting this response because: the conduit has been removed at my expense (once again) and mike was notified and they still have not made the repairs and I have not heard from them (like always).  If they would like to contact me [redacted] and set up a date that fits my work schedule that would be fine, if they just want to drop off all the panels for the walls and all the damaged roof panels ( I have pictures of them) I will repair the building my self, if its too much trouble for them.  Let me know Thanks [redacted]..

Since they have not repaired the building after 5 month A REFUND IS REQUESTED, Thank You[redacted]

The business did contact me last week and now that I am back in town I will respond back to them
