I am not a regular tru value customer,as yetI was in fact hoping to find a permanent hardware store in this little businessI needed a small plumbing part in OctNeither of the clerks could help me even locate the item that was neededWhat I did come away with was wrongNot wsnting to waste mire time to return the over priced part,I waited too longHowever when I d I d take it back,I was told that they didn't do returns past daysTi make matrers worse,the manager called me a liar when he insisted there was more to the item I wanted to returnI explained that wgay I had was all the clerk ::) ad given meAgain he replied no,I don't care what you're try I ng fo tell me,this wasn't the complete itemI then jyst tossed it accriss th he counter and told him to keep it...I couldn't use it I was given the incirrevt item to begin withI realize that I M the one out the cost of the item,but it was well worth it to tell him to put the item where he'd get thr most out id itLast time in this storeStill searching for a regular hardware store
This is the worst place ever The owner is a horrible person They have really shady return policies that aren't explained at the time of purchase Even when I asked if I could return the item if it didn't work, I was told yes, I could return it The thing they fail to mention, is that a full refund will not be issued if the product has been opened If they would've explained this in the first place, I would have taken my business elsewhere But they are shady, and don't mention that until you try and return Talk about ripping people off The owner, Michelle, is very rude and has no desire to please her customers I guess that doesn't matter to her All I have seen are bad reviews I'll never shop here again
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. It remains to be seen if the MCWA actually implements any changesThey seem to be sincere about wanting to make changesThus I am satisfied their intentions are goodRegards, *** ***
MCWA's Manager of Customer Services called the complainant to apologize and discuss this matter with him after receiving this complaintIt was explained that once MCWA’s managers were made aware of the extraordinary number of phone calls being received by our hour dispatch staff, an automated
response was added to our main phone line. The automated response stated that we were experiencing a large volume of dirty water calls in Penfield and Perinton and that we expected the situation to be rectified by mid-day on Sunday. Currently, an automated message cannot be added to the emergency telephone line. We are discussing procedures to better communicate issues to our customers in a more timely manner during non-business hours using automated messages and/or our website. Additionally, MCWA reports to the Health Department regarding the safety of the water. There have been discussions with them regarding this issue as well
