I lived in my apartment that Hometrend was the property management of I was there from to Nov of 2012, in the 10yrs I lived there it had the original carpet, never painted, When I got ready to move I gave a month written notice, I had the carpets cleaned professionally ( sent in a copy of the receipt ) showing it was done, had a lady come in and help me clean the apartment to make sure I didn't miss anything, a few weeks later I got a itemized letter and a refund for $17.00, I was charged for the replacement of the carpet ( carpet was over 10yrs old ) for the apartment to be painted and cleaned

I experienced the worst customer service of my life today with them. (9/22/14) I found the said property on Saturday morning and I sent the business and email inquiry. The property had only been listed that morning. I saw the business was closed on the weekends so I left my message with the listing agent's number shown as well as my email. Monday morning I had not received a call back so I placed another call as I am eager to see the property. 4:30 PM and I still have not received a call back from the messages or email that I sent. I called the companies direct line to their main office instead of calling the listing agent again. The man that answer did not state the business so I had no idea if I'd even gotten the right number. He asked what I was calling for so I told him that I was looking for more information on a home they had listed for rent. He asked me which one so I told him the street name of the house and then he told me that I needed to give him the entire address which I did not have offhand. He told me that that specific house had already received applications (which is confusing since it was listed on a Saturday and they are closed on Saturdays) he also told me that it was probably rented out already. I asked him why his listing agent couldn't have just called and told me that or reply to my email. I let him know that I was very dissatisfied with their customer service and overall business manners and his response was "hey there..." As I disconnected the call. I can only imagine what renting a property with them would be like long term.
