We did receive your concern about Customer *** M*** ID *** About her request to cancel her hotel reservation, we like to clear the facts.1- Our sales representative NEVER introduce them self as the conference organizer or the official hotel reservation for any conference, they clearly

issued invoice from my organization as well as an invoice from our wholesalers for the first bookings we have made. A call was made to [redacted] where our company name was stated, [redacted] explained to her that we have discounted hotel rooms at the Hilton Baltimore hotel and asked her if she had a chance to book her rooms earlier. [redacted] stated that she did not book and she would need 3 single rooms, an authorization form was sent with our company logo and address on the top of the forms. A few days later we called [redacted] to ask her if she wants us to collect the payment from the credit card submitted along with the authorization forms or using different credit cards. She asked us to take the full amount from the credit card submitted. An invoice and an itinerary were sent to [redacted] with our company information and logo on top of the documents. We also paid for the 3 rooms [redacted] ordered in full and attached is a proof document that the three rooms were booked, paid and confirmed.After the check out dates have passed [redacted] called to cancel the reservation;and asking for a refund. Please check our website and the signed contract by the customer and review the cancellation policy.  No hotel in the world will ever state that a client is entitled to cancel after the check out dates. No shows are also charged in full. There is nothing that we did from our side that was misleading, we did booked the rooms and paid in full to guarantee the customer a smooth check in and do not pay any additional fees at the hotel.We consider the complaint unreasonable we did deliver the service that we promised.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me only in that I will be refunded 100% of my money. However, I would like to clarify a few points. I was told that I would have up to 3 weeks prior to the conference to cancel my reservations. I was not informed of the 25% penalty for cancelling. This company did, in fact, represent themselves as an official booking agent with Mid Atlantic Congress (MAC) to me and to a multitude of other MAC attendees. MAC has consulted their lawyers to obtain a cease and desist order against this company and has sent out multiple emails cautioning their attendees to avoid booking through EHM. Please see attached.
