The team at Homewerks did an exceptional job with the design and remodel of our kitchen From start to finish this experience exceeded our expectationsThere were elements of the process that were truly impressive:
DESIGN AND CUSTOMER SERVICE: Kathy was a great listener and because of that she truly understood what was important to us in the new kitchen and how we wanted it to function Kathy's ability to take our thoughts and make them come alive in the renderings and ultimately in the finished product was outstanding Throughout the process Kathy's open communication, recommendations and guidance enhanced the end product
PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Dana was an exceptional project manager His attention to detail and his transparency regarding timing and process were appreciated Also, we were impressed with how he insured that there were very few days when there wasn't any progress being made on the kitchen Given the number of skilled workers necessary to coordinate we were incredibly impressed

I have looked into the issue and the check was mailed on September We have not received any calls or communication that the check was
not received until this complaintWith that said, we have confirmed it was not cashed and I personally re-issued and mailed a new checkI am very sorry for the inconvenience with this matterIf the original check does show up, please dispose of it as we have placed a stop payment on itThank you and please call the office if you have any further questionsThank you

Both my husband and I have been in the Homeweks store in Orland Park numerous times asking where our check was, *** *** told us it was mailed on September The check was received on September and the envelope was dated/mailed September 24, of which I have copies of both the check and the envelope
Also the other issue I have with Homewerks is that they charged us a restocking fee of $because *** ** *** said it was coming from GeorgiaWhen we went to pick up the floor pan *** ** said said it was in stock in their Bolinbrook warehouseNo where on any of our paperwork we signed does it state "RESTOCKING FEE OF 35%"??? So why are we being charged $237.00????
Even *** doesn't charge a restocking fee????
*** *** said he was being fair by only charging us $for restock/freight, but again no where on the paperwork from Homewerks does it state "RESTOCKING FEE OF 35%????
My husband and I are looking for a check of $
In conclusion, Mr*** *** doesn't know what goes on in this store, nor does *** *** I believe their staff lie to themTheir staff do not know how to resolve customer service issues and I was never given a corporate number to callThey always dialed the number and gave me the phoneI would never purchase another thing from this store, nor would I recommend them to any of my friends

I have received the reissued check from HomeWerks however, the original check was for $and the reissued check is for $300.25??? Why the shortage???
I have not received the check for $from the manufacturer, either??? Why has it taken almost two months to take care of this refund??!!!
As far as I am concerned HomeWerks is NOT a reputable company, now they have pushed off the $refund to come from another source!! Now I have to wait for another check???????

The stop payment was not on the check that was recut and mailed October The stop payment was on the first check from September and it was reissued upon receipt of the original complaintThe two check numbers to be cashed are and We are not trying to pull anythingBoth of these checks were mailed and appear to be in your possession and neither have a stop payment on themBeing accused of giving the run around is offensive especailly because we have gone beyond our refund policies to resolve this issue
