I conducted busines with Chris b ..he was well dress and friendly will forward referal to neighbors my wife was extremely happy we have always wanted to get involved in solar energy and chris was able to show us how easy it was to save money

Homewise (not Revdex.com accredited) called me and asked if they could set up an appointment to do a free home energy evaluationMy A/C unit is brand new so they moved on to my hot water heaterThey stated that was part of my high electric billThen they said my new A/C unit would be more efficient with a solar roof ventThen they seen my in ground poolNow I could save even more money if I had a variable speed pumpI asked them if they were affiliated with the power company (FPL) and they said - my electric bill was higher then the group of houses around the neighborhood and that triggered a call to themOK?- They promised they could cut my bill in half if I let them install - Solar roof fan- solar hot water tank-And a variable speed pool pumpThese were what was using all the energyAll this could be done for $11,Minus $ 3,check that would be mailed to me plus $1,credit from (FPL) power companySo now all this was only going to cost me $7,That did not sound to bad so I said go aheadOf course this is a rush deal so you have to start right awayWhen they were all done I asked about when I would see the $3,check? He told me it would come when I file my income taxI am on a fixed income and I do not have a taxable income so I do not fileSo now I can`t get ThatI asked about the $1,from FPL and as luck would have it they stopped that programSo now I have to pay $3,in one year or it will balloon and the $1,I can not getSo now I am still on a fixed income with a $11,debtThanks HOMEWISE for putting the screws to US Army Veteran

Our experience sounds like most others that I have read on here. Salesman Raymond sold us on insulation, solar attic fan, and solar power. I was skeptical but my wife was very interested and I agreed that if the numbers worked like we were shown then there was not a reason not to do it. The crew was rushed out to do the insulation and solar attic fan (we had the consult on Saturday and the crew was here on labor day Monday) so no time for second thoughts. The solar panel install took place on 11/7/2016. Since then we have failed four county inspections for various reasons which they keep insisting that the inspector is being overly picky. It is now 1/17/2017 and we have yet to be able to turn the solar panels on so we have not seen one penny of benefit from them. We have made two payments on them for a total of $277.70. My wife spoke to the owner of the company he claims that they are trying to go to our inspectors boss to try to get it passed. This was about three weeks ago and we have had not contact since and still the panels sit idle while we are paying for them.

We were mislead by this company and sales rep on how much would be saved. It is not true, the owner of the company can state the savings are not 30 to 50 percent due to price increases and wattage usage. We were given $1000.00 to make up the difference in the 30% savings we didn't see in our electric bill. Would not of accepted it if we knew that nothing was true in the sales pitch, also PLEASE Read small print before signing anything, the 30 % tax credit is bogus to. JUST PLEASE BEWARE, there is a reason there is a 3 day grace period. We tried to have the whole thing taken down but that was not going to happen. If they new there Solar System was the best don't you think you would get more than 3 days to decide if you want it. All I'm saying is if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, walks like a duck its a duck

BEWARE OF Homewise Improvement Solutions, Inc.
My mother was contacted by these people. She is 74 years old, recently widowed and on fixed social security. In the initial call, they implied that they were from [redacted] and wanted to do an energy efficient evaluation on her home. Not sure what info the were able to get over the phone but they showed up with a preprinted credit app. All my mothers info right there. They sold her a Solar Attic Fan. Then to bring up to code, they had to install more insulation in her attic. All for $4,688.00. The credit was ran through [redacted] at 5.9% for the first year the 13.9% for year two and beyond. The credit app is standard revolving and has a cancellation process that is standard. But Homewise has this fan installed so quickly and includes cutting a hole in your roof. How can you cancel a hole in your roof? She just had a brand new roof put on the week before. If you try and cancel, you get blown off and the OLD I WILL CALL YOU BACK. Then Tony tells you if you cancel you will have a hole left in your roof. Needless to say any warranty on your roof, does not include this.
According to my 74 year old mother a very nice lady named Sarah showed up and walked her through everything, Sarah went as far as leaving my mother notes that read when you call go through the prompts and " JUST SAY YES". These prompts included, was service satisfactory, do you understand your financing.
On the bottom of the page with the notes. says Love Sarah A[redacted] !!!!
Since a revolving account was opened via [redacted], Homewise is attempting to contact her again. I'm certain they want to get some more money from this old lady. Guess what people? Your electric company DOES NOT solicit. If you want anything from them, you have to contact them. Please don't be a victim.
In conclusion, I currently regret not being there when Sarah A[redacted] came over. I regret that there are organizations like this that can willingly mislead.
I have notified the County of Hillsborough and The State of Florida Consumer Affairs.

Please be ware of this company!!! Do not sign Anything unless you have a lot of money to spend. I was contacted by a representative to set up an appointment with someone who would discuss the new credits I could receive from the government on my home appliances this year. This is a
LIE!!! What they do is test all your home energy appliances to see if they are running effectively. They review all this with you and tell you how much you could save by having the energy efficient appliances installed. During this entire presentation I continually asked the agent if their were any up front out of pocket costs and was continually told for over an hour their was not. I would be able to receive all this equipment totally free!! I asked him why he wanted to review all the cost of the equipment with me then? If it's free I wanted it all no matter what it costs! Here is the catch: you will get the savings/money back for all this thousands of dollars you spend up front through the savings you may or may not get from this new energy efficient equipment you are paying for up front either by financing or paying for it first! As far as government rebates, I haven't heard of any rebates anyone is offering! To sum it up, It may be better equipment then what you currently have and if you have extra money to spend on this equipment you may save some money over the years. My problem is, they are not up front about the cost. If they stretch the truth to begin with, what else are they not telling you? I would rather shop around for a new AC unit, pool pump, etc. to compare prices to see how much I can save when I can afford to have it replaced! Sorry Homewise, in this day and age people want honesty and companies they can trust. I especially feel bad for the folks like the VA vet or the senior who do not have this kind of money! Remember Homewise, what goes around comes around!!

I was very disappointed in this company. I felt they very much misrepresented themselves to get a sale. They stated they were an "A+" rating with the Revdex.com only to find out that they were not Revdex.com accredited. They also stated they were part of Angie's list and I searched and searched and could not find them. They talked about a 25 year warranty but could not show me a copy. Stated I would receive it after instillation. They were also unwilling to provide any references. There was no choice in instillation dates or times, it had to be at 0800 the next day not giving us much time to research the company or rearrange our schedule. Fortunately, we agreed no money would be exchanged until after instillation.
