Recently, my son and his team were playing a basketball tournament in Lexington, Ky. I made a reservation for what I thought was the closes Homewood Suites. When we got to Lexington there was another Homewood suites directly across from the place where the tournament was being held. I called the other hotel to switch my reservation over to the closer Homewood suites. I look at my credit card statement. I have a charge from the Homewood suites that we did not stay at and they stated I needed to cancel that within 24 hours. While I was talking to them no one ever mentioned that I thought I was just transferring my reservation to the other Homewood Suites. I called they said I could not be refunded due to not giving a 48 hour notice. I would like my 106.94 refunded back to my credit card statement. The lady I spoke with stated that Homewood suites are all owned an operated by different people and do not have one corporpation
