I am rejecting this response because:I will accept the $for the tiresI am rejecting the overall proposal because I still feel that their claim of inspection by a professionals should include body work regardless of vehicle history via CarfaxDue to their insistence that the the vehicle was inspected by a trained professional and the response of two different auto body professionals that the damage was easily identifiable, there should be some compensation for their oversight of this matter

Received phone call and e-mail from Jaret ***, General Manager -- tells Revdex.com he previously responded on this issue through an Attorney General's office complaint, and that the dealership's position remains the same.Text of accompanying note to AG's office reads as follows:"I have enclosed the
forms for verification you asked for, as for the problems regarding the door I have also sent a vehicle carfax stating no accidents or damage reported on this vehicleWe have spoken that the vehicle may have had prior bodywork done to the vehicle by a previous owner as many vehicles on the road do, evidenced by the number and amount of work being done in bodyshopsWith a clean carfax and title on the vehicle there is nothing stating any concern with damage on this vehicleI feel that we have covered any mechanical concerns with the vehicle and went above and beyond with the reimbursement on the brake pads and the extended warranty covering much of the expense on a vehicle having repairs at just under and some over 100,miles.Thanks for your time,Jaret ***General Manager" Mr *** adds in his e-mail to Revdex.com: "I am sending the information I sent to the attorney general, in regards to the tires our store policy is if they are in good condition and the tread depth good, roughly 5/or better, we will leave them on the vehicleLet me know if there is any other information you would need from myself, thanks."

Normally in a situation with consideration to helping a customer regarding such issues as the tires we would have the customer bring the vehicle in so we could inspect the problem and determine a resolution.  We were not able to see the tires or have the opportunity to do the repair at our shop in this case.  To bring resolution to this issue we would be willing to refund [redacted] half of her tire purchase, $266.93.  We feel as with the help given on the brake pads and the help given with the new tires, of which both issues were not brought to our service dept to repair, we are being very accommodating with this situation on a used 2009 vehicle sold with 97,541 miles.  As for the door we do not feel there is any responsibility on our part for a vehicle with a clean carfax, no structural damage, and no bodywork done to the vehicle while in the dealerships possession.
