We apologize for the inconvenience with our service. We spoke with our client and resolved the issue. Feel free to call ###-###-####, or email [redacted]

Brought my car in because of battery related problem. Car failed to start. Dash board warning of low battery charge. They decided to replace the battery. I of coursed had to pay for that. Two weeks later the problem came back. After going back and forth 6 times in about 1 month, they finally admitted there was likely a short circuit somewhere and they did not know the exact root cause, and they could perform deeper diagnostic but it would cost at least $500 more. So I decided to take the car back. I lost money, lost a good battery, and wasted lots of time for nothing. Car is still with the same problem. Will bring it to other place.

Review: I purchased a vehicle on May **, 2013. The sales person asked me if I was interested in purchasing a tire hazard package. I explicitly told him NO. They still went ahead and without my permission added the tire hazard package, lojack and pre-paid maintenance packages. I decided to keep the pre-paid maintenance package, but requested a cancellation of the Tire hazard and the lojack. They were to cancel the packages and send me a refund check for tire package of $2,500.00 and the lojack fee of $695.00 totaling $3,195.00. To date I have not received proof of cancellation or the refund check. I have made several calls and visits to the dealership and I am constantly being told that the person who handles it is not in or in a meeting and he will get back to me. Which they never do.Desired Settlement: Proof of cancellation of tire package and lojack. Dealerships must get permission from consumers and stop padding their bills with cosmetic items.

Response:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Thank you for allowing us this opportunity to address [redacted]'s complaint regarding the cancellation of the Tire & Wheel package, Lo-jack and the Extended Service Contract.

When [redacted] purchased her vehicle she included in that purchase, various after-market products: Alarm, Key Replacement;

Tire & Wheel package; Lo-Jack; and an Extended Service Contract. Shortly thereafter she advised us that she did not want

the products referenced above and we began the cancellation process. We have recently sent a check to [redacted] which reflects

the refund attributed to the cancellation of Lo-jack ($695) and the tire & wheel package ($1,195) for a total refund amount of $1,890.

The Extended Service Contract had a purchase price of $2,595. As the vehicle was financed and the manufacturer's extended

service plan was rolled into the finance contract, the administrator of the extended service plan package requires that any proceeds

from a cancellation be applied to the contract. They will only release funds to the customer if the vehicle does not have a lien holder.

[redacted] may verify the cancellation of the extended service plan policy by contacting the policy administrator or by contacting

her lienholder and verifying if the cancellation proceeds have been applied.

Please note that we do not add unauthorized products to a customer's purchase. The customer must make this authorization my signing

each document specific to the product that they are selecting as each product is through a separate vendor. This At this time, the customer's

request has been accommodated and we believe this matter to be satisfactorily resolved.

If you need any additional information, please feel free to contact me.

Review: I leased another Honda vehicle with a promise they would pay off the last payment($269) of my prior lease. They also charged me for registration transfer $200 while the actual charge was $4.50. Visited the dealership several time, they stated the "the checks in the mail". Called cooperate ** for Honda, they had called the dealership and they stated the payment would be made. I am getting calls and letters from financial company and stating it is my obligation and it would hurt my credit rating.Desired Settlement: That dealership would make last payment and to be reimbursed for the transfers of plates.

Response:

Dear Sirs or Madams,

Thank you for allowing us this opportunity to address Mr. [redacted]'s complaint regarding the lease of his new Honda Accord.

On June **, 2013 Mr. [redacted] leased a Honda Accord. An oversight occurred regarding the

last payment of Mr. [redacted]'s previous leased vehicle, wherein Honda of Nanuet overlooked remitting the payment to the lender.

In addition to the last payment not being made, there was a miscalculation of the registration transfer fees associated

with the new lease.

We acknowledge these errors and hove since processed a check to be payable to Mr. [redacted] in the amount

of $535.73, which covers the amount of the final payment on the prior lease and the discrepancy of the fees aissociated with the registration transfer fees.

At this time, we have satisfied Mr. [redacted]'s desired settlement and consider this matter to be resolved.

If you need any additional Information, please feel free to contact me at my office. Thank you,

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: Sales representative [redacted] outright lied. We want to purchase a second new Honda and put a deposit on a 2015 Honda as [redacted] confirmed we would get this vehicle by the end of the week, this was on 07/**/2014. Once at Nanuet on 07/**/2014, a Tuesday, we placed a $500.00 deposit however later that week they claimed that Honda was sold. How it reasonable we put $500 on a vehicle and then it is claimed it was sold??? It is very questionable how this was unknown on 07/**/2014 by [redacted], a [redacted] We have requested a refund however the $500.00 has not been refunded.

The attempted fraud should also be noted. The sales sheet from [redacted] shows a charge of $2.50 for each new tire sale on the new car however the paperwork clearly shows the fee should be only $1.50 per tire. [redacted] was unable to explain why the paperwork was wrong, we simply need to pay what he stated regardless of the fixed price on the paperwork. This is very questionable and a very poor way of doing business as the correct paperwork should be used.

The next issue and most shocking is what appears to be outright fraud. During the attempted confirmation of the deposit we came across overcharging of sales tax. Per [redacted] the tax charged was correct as this was done by his computer. As it was clear DCH Honda of Nanuet New York could not be trusted we checked everything. Once [redacted] was asked to explain how all other calculators could not calculate the tax he was overcharging he was unable to explain this overcharge in DCH Honda of Nanuet's favor..Desired Settlement: Based on the above fraud, failure to deliver the Honda as promised, we want a full refused of the $500.00 deposit.

Review: I purchased a car on 4/**/2014 and have not yet received the registration or title or refund since they over charged. I have gone up to the dealer 4x, called 10x and sent email. They NEVER respond.Desired Settlement: I want what I am entitled to/paid for
