Honda of Toms River is the worst car dealer service department I have ever done business with. The whole time I was there I felt like I was being lied to and cheeted.
Never again.
I'm surprised by this complaint because as they stated they encountered a problem with the vehicle and they reached out and we told them to bring it in and they did and we fixed it with no cost to themAs far as being offered additional warranties we always do and we even have a signed menu of different options for extended warranties that they refused to purchaseAnyway, we have done nothing but help themWe most recently received a call from them that the check engine light came on again and told them to bring it in so they did and we gave them a loaner while we are fixing the vehicle for themSo, again I'm confused by this complaintPlease remove itThanks in advance for your help
It appears there was a miscommunication internally regarding the said Honda's certificationOnce I was made aware there was an issue from the customer, I had found the vehicle could not be certified due to time that had expiredSince we would like to resolve this issue quickly I would like to offer [redacted] an extended warranty of months/24,miles bumper to bumperThe certified warranty is months/12,milesI would need some additional information from [redacted] to process that warrantyAs far as the Texas sales tax we have no record of receiving any check here at Honda of Toms RiverIf there is any way of obtaining a copy of the check or proof the monies was sent and to whom I would be glad to refund any difference the customer was chargedIn no way we would be looking to profit from taxes the customer is responsible forPlease feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I am NOT still satisfied with your resolution because I went to your shop with one problem which still wasn’t fixed along another problem after your shop place a water pumpWhile in the process for very long drive, my car overheated, which I had the garage flushed out the systemThat seemed corrected since it didn’t overheat rest of my tripAnother word your shop, more created more headache and I had to cancel my sightseeing along the wayAll I care was get to [redacted] without any farther breakdownI feel that your shop too advance of me (I should never told your shop I will be driving over miles) by doing a sloppy work since they know I will be over miles away Regards, [redacted] ***
Dear *** *** I did read your complaint and I'm sorry you had more trouble with your car but it's quite possible that ignition switch and the starter are two separate issues however in the spirit of customer service I will refund you the charge for the ignition switch I have attached a copy of your

I am rejecting this response because: No one offered me extended warranty productsNo one The only form that says there was an aftermarket warranty was the in house warranty form which admittingly I saw only after the first repair No one spoke to me or told me of choices Do not suggest otherwise.I entered this complaint before I was called to bring my car in, since no one reached out to me after I spoke to Mel I got an email from Mel AFTER I made the complaint Your staff knew we didnt have money, your staff helped us, and your staff also sold me a car that needed thousands of dollars of work within two days of driving it We purchased the car on Sept 25th and up to November 8th she drove it less than two weeks I am thankful that you have taken the car in, after I informed your staff that the catalytic converter is covered in full under an extended warranty by GMI don't know that you would have taken it in if I didn't say that. Had you not answered this as if I had no reason to put in a complaint I would have taken it off myself as you are helping me I am frustrated and afraid for her driving that car It isn't going to last the six years we will be paying for it I expect cars like this from a "buy her pay here" lot, not a reputable dealership, and one that participates in a program offered by my employer which is why I went to you.

would like to offer [redacted] an extended warranty of 24 months/24,000 miles bumper to bumper. The certified warranty is 12 months/12,000 miles.
