Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The dealership has had the vehicle for over a month Why did they only order the parts weeks ago when they received the vehicle on 6/19? This is unacceptable and consumers should be made aware when buying a certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Honda of Westport I asked why they waited so long to order the parts and was told they were ordered after I send email correspondence on 7/and left [redacted] voicemail They wanted me to wait days so Honda Corp would pay for the replacement Federal Express will ship anything 24/7! Hello there, I just emailed Lauren n regards to her compliant: My name is [redacted] *m one of the managers with Honda of WestportMy team and I wanted to express our sincere apologies regarding your recent service visit with usI understand there was a discount that was offered but not applied to this service work doneAfter speaking to all parties involved in the process it appears there was a misunderstanding by your service consultant regarding what repairs to hold off on and what? work? to perform? I am also aware of a timing belt recommendation that was already taken care of in the past? by? another facilityIt is very important to know we will never mislead you in anyway regarding services that need to be done but will recommended services based off of time and mileage.? We are unable to inspect this particular maintenance item due to? its ? location so its important to make sure we are communicating those items as well as what we can actually see during a visual inspectionWithin the next 7-days you will receive a check in the mail in the amount of $This is for the discount that was not appliedWe value you as a Honda customer and truly apologize once again for your experience ? ? We are aware of this situation and we have taken appropriate action to resolve the matter We left *** *** a message this morning The parts were ordered over two weeks ago , unfortunately these parts are not readily available as they are special order only , we are still waiting
for one of the parts and it was shipped yesterday , we are expecting the part within days We can't overnight the part as this is not an option available to us We have assigned priority to this matter and we are doing everything within our power to resolve this matter as soon as possible

I understand that the customer is upset but the process is in place and the part has been shipped At this point all that can be done is wait for the part to arriveWe cant change the shipping options as the part was ordered directly from the manufacturerThe repair is our priority and the minute the part arrives we will fix the vehiclePlease note that we have provided alternate transportation to the consumer while the part is on order even though this is not a drive or safety issue , it is a DVD which is not a safety issue

I am rejecting this response because: I am not rejecting the offer to supply the missingdisk, but your yes-no answer didn't quite fit.This matter will not be resolved until I have the proper disk and it works. Last week, the salesmanager phoned and promised to mail the disk to me, but has obviously forgotten that I confirmedthe mailing address in that conversation because he has just called to say the disk has come in and to ask what I wanted him to do with it. So much for hearing anything I haveto say.I will call and ask him again to mail the disk to me.
