I apologize for the difficulty you had requesting a refund upon cancellation of your warranty*** requires a fax sent to a specific phone number for all cancellationsThere is a built in delay of several weeks from the time the request is sent in until we receive the refund.Up till now we have
waited for the *** refund, to issue a check to the customerI may change that process in the future so the customer gets their refund more timely I can assure that no one here intentionally delays a refund. You stated that the refund should be $250, it is less that thatYou get 40% of the $minus the cancellation fee of $That would work out to $In light of the circumstances and the delay in getting the refund to you will waive the cancellation fee and refund you $139.60.in an effort to be fair l also looked at this another way, I divided the price paid by the term of months, ($349,48-$monthly cost) if your cancellation was processed as of June that would be months of coverage, at $per month equals $That would leave $unused, minus the $cancellation fee so the refund would be $which is very close to what we are refundingMy point is that even if a straight line pro-ration is used it does not work out to $and using a straight line pro-ration pretty much ends up in the same place as using the *** formula.Once again apologize for the inconvenience and the refund check is enclosed.Sincerely,Paul *Z***

Dear ***:I am willing to refund the customer's $36,00.I really feel the description the customer gives gives is very one sided and does not reflect the effort the service department put into resolving this issueTime and money was spent to try and
correct a relatively small defect (srcatch) in the wheelThe customer originally demanded a new wheel, saying that the last shop did that when they scratched his wheel,Having said that none of this would have happened if the wheel was never scratchedI will the customer a refund and hope that will satisfy him.Sincerely

Dear Revdex.com:[redacted] was issued a $500 refund check #[redacted] on 09/09/2016.  He stated in his complaint that he didn't want tot speak to anyone at the store so I could not refund back to his credit card since we do not store credit card information.  Therefore, I mailed a check.Oddly, the...

check has not cleared my bank as on today.  I suspect that since [redacted] complained to [redacted] and they have his his $500, he was satisfied with that.  I may send him a follow up letter letting him know that since [redacted] did refund the check has been canceled.  I will sure to send you a copy of that letter for your file.It is nice to know that he did not take advantage of the situation by cashing the check.Thank you.Sincerely,(Signature)

Review: Worst place ever !!! Avoid taking your bike to this business!!! I took my motorcycle to this place in December 2012 for a minor repair. Service people first diagnosed a wrong problem. First they said it was the relay, then they said it wasn`t the relay but some electrical problem, Then they told me they needed to order a service manual to figure out the problem, then they said it was the kick stand problem. 5 MONTHS later I visited the place to check what`s going on. They said it was fixed but the gas tank was SCRATCHED. Not only the deep scratch on the TANK, but MIRROR, METAL COVER next to oil reservoir, BACK FAIRING and METAL FAIRING HOLDER also had damaged. They knocked over my bike and no one informed me about that. They even tried to charge me the damaged mirror!! Their service manager [redacted] told me that I should not have taken my Yamaha there. I should`ve listened him. All that frustration and waiting for a simple fix on top of damaged bike that I received. This is going to the court folks !!! After reporting this business to Consumer Protecting Agency and The County...Desired Settlement: The scratched side metal frame needs to be replaced with a new one.

Review: On or about 9/26/13 I called the dealership to test drive an advertised three wheel motorcycle. They informed me that another person was also interested in the motorcycle and I needed to make a $500.00 refundable deposit for them to hold the motorcycle until the next day. My wife and I test drove the motorcycle the next day. We had some concerns about the value of the motorcycle and needed overnight to discuss or desire to make the purchase and so informed the salesman and business manager. I called when the dealership opened the next morning and told the salesman that we decided not to purchase the motorcycle. I was assured that a refund of the $500.00 deposit would be made to my credit card immediately. I contacted the business manager, [redacted], By phone on 10/30/13. He apologized for the error and said he would process the refund that day. No refund has been made as of this date 11/14/13Desired Settlement: Immediate refund of $500.00 deposit

Review: [redacted], the salesperson I dealt with at Honda Powersports of Rockville, and I have been friends for about two years. When I owned my previous motorcycle, we often road together and discussed about upgrading my current motorcycle with him through the dealership that he worked at, saying he would get me a really good deal. Since he was a friend I trusted him. In November of 2013 he text messaged me a photo of a 2011 Honda [redacted], red and black, for $7k. [redacted] knows that I work part time and go to school, so I didn't have extra money to be spending for insurnace on a brand new motorcycle, nor the upped monthly payment for a new one. I wanted a used motorcycle from the get-go. I told him I loved it and would apply for it that night. I texted him back letting know I applied. Not too long after, he texted me saying that I was approved and that I needed to give a $500 deposit to hold the bike, or to come sign the paperwork immediately. I did not want to give a deposit, so I dropped everything I was doing to come sign the paperwork.

I was extremely excited to be getting a new motorcycle. [redacted] and I have only talked about the 2011 Honda [redacted] that was red and black, so I had no reason to doubt him or think otherwise. Unfortunately, I did not look over the paperwork carefully enough before I signed to notice that the contract I was signing was for a 2013 Honda [redacted] in red for $10k. He took me out to the showroom and told me to sit on a 2013 Honda [redacted] to "try it on for size". He took a picture and uploaded it to [redacted]. He told me my motorcycle had just been bought at the auction so it wasn't in the store yet, and since the 2011 and 2013 are very similar, I thought that he was letting me sit on the 2013 in the showroom to get a feel for how my 2011 motorcycle will feel.

I left the store that evening feeling extremely accomplished and proud of myself for making a large purchase on my own, thinking to myself "thank God I have a friend to help me through everything and one I can trust!". Mind you, I am a 22 year old female shopping around in an industry run not only by greedy salespeople, but one dominated by men. I didn't feel taken advantage of at all, in fact, I was thankful. The next morning at work was slow, so I decided to view over the contracts and take a glance at everything. My heart dropped to my stomach when I saw that I had signed a contract for a 2013 and NOT the 2011 [redacted] and I talked about. I immediately texted him and asked why it was for a 2013 and not the 2011 we discussed. He told me I got a better deal. I told him that insurnace was more expensive on the 2013 than the 2011 and I couldn't afford it, and that I was shocked he bamboozled me with this 2013 we never talked anything about.

I didn't want to get [redacted] in any trouble. I continued our text conversation and let him know that if he could transfer the loan (since I was being financed through Honda) to the 2011, that would be great. [redacted] told me that he couldn't do that because it would be "too difficult". I was getting angry at this point and I told him that I no longer wanted either bike-- not the 2011 I had originally wanted, nor the 2013 I was suckered in to signing for. [redacted] replied and told me okay, and I didn't speak to him after that.

I thought that everything was settled and went on with my business. In mid January I received a [redacted] in the mail for the 2013 bike. Again, my heart dropped into my stomach when I saw the bill. That evening I brought my boyfriend along for support as we made the hour drive to the Honda Powersports in Rockville to dispute the bill. As soon as I walked in I saw [redacted], and without saying a word I handed him the bill. It looked like he had seen a ghost with how white his face turned. He looked at me and said "this is weird, as far as I knew the contract didn't even go through because we financed you before we actually even had the bike in our possession". I said back to him that it clearly had went through and that I was very angry because I told him I didn't want this 2013 motorcycle from the very beginning. He went and got the store manager [redacted] to come out and talk to us (my boyfriend and I).

[redacted] told me that he never had to deal with a situation like this before and he didn't know how to handle it, because after all, I had signed a contract. I told him that I have text messages as evidence that [redacted] and I only discussed a 2011 and NOT a 2013, but unfortuntately the texts were deleted from my phone and I would need a court order or subpoena to attain them (which I will more than gladly do if I need further evidence). He shot back at me with a snide remark that he had a photo of me on [redacted] sitting on the 2013. I explained to him that [redacted] had told me my bike wasn't in yet, and I thought that he was letting me sit on this similar one to get a similar feel. [redacted] told me he would have to call me within the week to figure out what to do. At this point, the motorcycle has been at the store for over a month and I never received a call, not even a text, letting me know that it was in. This goes to show why I had thought everything was resolved and that I was no longer in the contract.

That night [redacted] called me when I got home. I talked with my boyfriend, his mom and dad and we discussed everything. [redacted] told me that I could get out of the contract for $100, which would go to getting this 2013 motorcyle re-titled. I wanted this entire situation over with, so I decided to pay the $100 and move on.

I think it's very clear that [redacted] tried to pull one over on me and thought he could get away with it. [redacted] made it seem as if there was absolutely no way that I could reverse this, which was false because I never taken the motorcycle off the lot--- I never even got a call saying it was in if it was still "mine"! [redacted] knew in his heart of hearts that we only discussed the 2011 that he sent me a photo of. I tried to cover up that, also, by saying that he "thought" we talked about a 2013, but we did not and I can prove that.Desired Settlement: I can provide the text message evidence to prove that [redacted] and I never discussed a 2013, only the 2011 that he sent me a phot of. I told [redacted] the next day after I signed the paperwork that I didn't want either bike, so the contract should have been cancelled then. [redacted] tried to cover himself when I showed up over a month late with the bill by saying that he thought the contract never went through, even though he was paid his comission for it. This should have all been fixed the very next day, but it was not. I feel that it is the dealerships responsibility, mostly [redacted]s, and that he should have to pay the $100 to get the motorcycle retitled, not me.

I also want to make the Revdex.com aware of salespeople and young, female customers. I learned a great lesson in this ordeal. The first lesson is to read over every word in the contract very carefully. The second lesson is to be extremely careful when doing business with "friends".

Review: In March of 2014 I cancelled an extended warranty on my 2012 Honda atv. It cost me $600 and is prorated upon termination. This was through an outside company called RPM. They had sent the check to Honda of Rockville on May 15th. The Manager at Rockville is then to send it to Honda Financial to credit it against my account. THis has not happened after almost 4 months. I am selling the ATV and have lost 2 people because of there delay so far. I have got no satisfaction from them. HOnda Financial has even called them and got no answer or return call many times. I just want the check applied to my account to get a true pay off.Desired Settlement: I need the check to be applied to my existing account.

Review: ON 8/8/14 I BROUGHT MY REAR MOTORCYCLE WHEEL ASSEMBLY (TIRE & RIM) TO HAVE HONDA POWERSPORTS OF ROCKVILLE DISMOUNT MY OLD TIRE FROM THE RIM AND MOUNT A NEW TIRE BACK ON MY EXISTING RIM. I MADE A POINT TO TELL THE GENTLEMEN AT THE SERVICE COUNTER THAT THE RIM WAS NEW AND THAT IT HAD NO SCRATCHES OR BLEMISHES WHAT SO EVER, SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL. HE ACKNOWLEDGED THIS AND EVEN TYPED THIS ON THE INVOICE SO THAT THE MECHANIC WOULD ALSO KNOW TO BE CAREFUL WHEN CHANGING THE TIRE SO AS NOT TO DAMAGE THE RIM DURING THE TIRE SWAP. THAT SAME EVENING I WENT TO PICK UP THE RIM AND AS THE COUNTER GUY WAS HANDING ME THE WHEEL I NOTICED A SCRATCH ON THE RIM TEARING THE REFLECTIVE STRIPE ON THE SIDE OF THE RIM. UPON CLOSER INSPECTION I NOTICED MORE SCRATCHED, WHEN I SHOWED THE COUNTER GUY HE INSPECTED THE RIM AND THEN ACKNOWLEGDED THAT THEY HAD DAMAGED MY RIM. HE THEN ASKED WHAT WOULD I LIKE DONE, I RESPONDED SINCE THIS WAS A NEW RIM, I WOULD LIKE IT REPLACED. THE COUNTER GUY STATED THAT THE OWNER OF THE SHOP WOULD HAVE TO SEE THE RIM BEFORE MAKING A DECISION SHOULD BE THE NEXT DAY. I LEFT THE WHEEL ALONG WITH MY INFORMATION; THE OWNER CALLED ME THE NEXT AFTERNOON STATING THAT HIS COUNTER GUY HAD TOLD HIM WHAT HAPPENED AND THAT HE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PHYSICALLY SEE THE DAMAGED WHEEL UNTIL ALMOST 3 DAYS AFTER THE INCIDIENT.

ON DAY 4 THE SHOP MANAGER CALLS ME AND STATES THAT THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE THE RIM PAINTED INSTEAD OF REPLACING THE RIM, I REITERATED THAT I WANTED THE RIM REPLACED NOT PAINTED. HE STATED THAT IT WAS ALREADY AT THE PAINT SHOP AND WOULD BE DONE BY THE NEXT DAY. I STRESSED THE REASONS WHY I DID NOT WANT THE RIM PAINTED. ON 8/13/14 I STOPPED IN TO THE STORE TO SEE THE OWNER SINCE HE WOULD NOT RETURN ANY OF MY PREVIOUS CALLS TO NO AVAIL DUE TO HIM NOT BEING THERE, THE RIM WAS PAINTED BUT THEN THE COUNTER GUY INFORMED ME THAT IT WOULD TAKE ANOTHER DAY OR TWO TO ORDER A REFLECTIVE STRIPE THAT NOW HAD TO BE REPLACED SINCE THEY HAD TORN THE OLD REFLECTIVE STRIPE AND PAINTED MY OLD RIM. FINALLY AFTER ANOTHER 4-6 DAYS GO BY THEN THEY CALL TO SAY THAT THE WHEEL IS COMPLETED AND READY FOR PICK UP. I WENT TO PICK UP MY WHEEL ASSEMBLY ON 8/21/14 WHEN I GOT THERE TO PICK UP MY WHEEL; RIGHT AWAY I NOTICED THAT THE REFLECTIVE STRIPE ON THE RIM WAS INSTALLED IMPROPERLY. WHEN I SHOWED THE SERVICE MANAGER, HE STATED THAT YES, IT WAS INFACT IMPROPERLY INSTALLED AND THAT IT WOULD JUST TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO FIX AND THAT HE MUST HAVE OVER LOOKED THIS A FEW DAYS AGO WHEN THEY CALLED TO SAY THT THE WHEEL WAS READY FOR PICK UP, HE APOLOGIZED. OVER AN HOUR LATER, FINALLY HE BRINGS THE WHEEL OUT AND AT THIS POINT I JUST WANTED TO GET MY WHEEL BACK BEFORE WASTING ANY MORE OF MY TIME GOING BACK AND FORTH TO THIS HONDA POWERSPORTS OF ROCKVILLE, I SHOWED THEM WHERE IT STILL WASN'T CORRECT BUT THEY COULDN'T GET THE RIM BACK TO THE WAY IT ORIGINALLY WAS WHEN I FIRST BROUGHT IT IN ALMOST TWO WEEKS AGO FOR A SIMPLE TIRE SWAP.

I JUST WANTED THEM TO KNOW THAT I EXPECTED TO GET MY WHEEL ASSEMBLY BACK THE WAY I BROUGHT IT TO THEM, UNBLEMISHED AND UNSCRATCHED. AT NO POINT DID THE OWNER OR THE SERVICE MANAGER MAKE ANY EFFORT TO COMPENSATE ME FOR MY INCONVENIENCE AND WASTED TIME OF GOING BACK AND FORTH TO THE HONDA POWERSPORTS OF ROCKVILLE SHOP ALONG WITH JUST STANDING THERE FOR OVER AN HOUR WAITING FOR THEM TO CORRECT YET ANOTHER MISTAKE ON THEIR PART. I WOULD LIKE FOR EITHER THE OWNER OF THE SHOP OR THE HONDA CORPORATION TO AT LEAST REIMBURSE ME FOR THE INFERIOR WORK DONE BY THIS ESTABLISHMENT.Desired Settlement: AS STATED ABOVE I WOULD LIKE FOR THE HONDA POWERSPORTS OF ROCKVILLE TO REFUND MY MONEY FOR THE INFERIOR WORK THAT THEY HAVE PERFORMED AND EITHER THE HONDA POWERSPORTS OF ROCKVILLE OR THE HONDA CORPORATION (MOTORCYCLE DIVISION) TO COMPENSATE ME FOR MY INCONVENINCE AND TIME WASTED WAITING FOR THE HONDA POWERSPORTS OF ROCKVILLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT TO PERFORM SUB STANDARD SERVICE ON MY MOTORCYCLE WHEEL.
