I paid Honest-$249.31+tax on Aug19, to replace the front left upper control arm on my Acura, a job which was warrantied for yearsOn Nov23, 2016, I brought my car in for other service, Honest-discovered that this same part was broken and needed replacementThey were either unaware or unwilling to fix it under warranty then, and gave me a quote of $to fix itApparently they considered it my responsibility to know that this repair was one which they had already done and I should have brought the warranty to their attentionInstead, they quoted me their price to fix it again, so I didn't have it doneOn Oct18, 2017, while getting other service done, I inquired again about the control armThis time I had all of my past bills from Honest with me.I realized that they had already fixed this once, it broke while under warranty, they discovered the break within the year warranty, didn't fix it, quoted me on the repair, and now, because it was still broken

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.A full refund is what I am seeking, so if Honest-is offering this, I am satisfied

I originally brought my Mercury Grand Marquis to Honest in Roseville for a wheel alignment after I replaced the inner and outer tie rods and adjusting sleeve on the drivers sideI hold an associate's degree in auto repair and have wrenched on vehicles for years, including years now as an aftermarket electronics installer, so so typically perform any repairs myself that I am capable ofI understand that this is not popular with repair shops, but I still am willing to pay for services I am unable to perform and I made it known that I had done the repair myself prior to servicePrior to me replacing the tie rods, the steering wheel was centered normallyAfter my repair, it was offset about degrees counter clockwise while driving straightI anticipated toe misalignment, and this is the reason I brought the car to Honest I paid approximately $plus tax for the serviceWhen I received a call informing me the car was done, I was told the wheel could not be center

Brought our van in for an oil change, tire rotation, and it had a low tire which I asked them to look atThey dismissed and ignored me because immediately after leaving (and picking up my kids) the tire was flat again and still in the same positionThey had not rotated my tires which was on my receipt and let me leave with an unsafe tire on the carThey had not bothered to ask me where the lug nut key was (it was where the manufacturer stores it) so they had never even touched the tiresThey did replace the tire but at the time said "there is no way to know" whether it was wear from running it flat or something elseThey are now claiming it was a manufacturer defect and that replacing the tire was a goodwill gestureHowever, the tire was less than two years old and I could have requested a refund had that been the caseI was also supposed to receive a "comprehensive vehicle inspection" per the receipt after returning to replace the destroyed tireIt was so "comprehensive" that the front head light was out and they missed itI will never go back and would not recommend others do either

Mrs*** has been contacted and satisfied. We did refund her $+ tax and apologized for her frustration. She was very pleased, stating that we retained her as a customer as a result. Consider the case closed

To whom it may concern, *** *** originally brought his Mercury Grand Marquis in to our shop at *** *** *** ** Roseville, MN on 08/10/2016. We informed *** that we could not get the steering wheel straight due to a possible steering gear or drag link failure though
*** had us adjust the alignment to factory specifications. The customer took the vehicle. On 08/17/*** *** returned with the vehicle and we attempted to straighten the steering wheel out, with the original parts we had recommended he replace, at no charge to the customer. We still could not get the steering wheel 100% straight due to either the steering gear or the drag link having looseness. The customer said he was going to replace the parts we recommended and return to have the alignment set once again. The customer took the vehicle. On 09/26/*** *** returned with vehicle after replacing the parts we had recommended from the previous two visits. We set the alignment a 3rd time with no charge to the customer. Normally replacing parts would void the warranty though we readjusted the alignment again at no charge to the customer as a customer service gesture. The vehicle seemed to track well and the steering wheel was straight on our test drive. The customer took the vehicle. On 10/07/we received notice from the Revdex.com that *** *** was disputing the charge for the alignment we performed times on his vehicle. In our professional opinion we performed all services we were asked to perform and to the best of our abilities. Respectfully,Matt ***Store ManagerHonest-Roseville###-###-####

Mr. [redacted] brought his 2005 Audi Quattro 2.0L to Honest1 Roseville on 6-20-2015. He stated that he had a CEL dash warning light on and he had already had his vehicle at another shop to diagnosed for fuel pressure regulator. We pulled engine code...

12555, indicates "Low pressure regulation" outside specification. Not Plausible signal, intermittent, losing signal to low fuel pressure sensor. We replaced fuel pressure sensor after receiving customers authorization, Completed repairs & took on test drive after completion with no further issue. Customer picked-up vehicle and left but returned the same day when CEL light came back on and vehicle we into "limp mode". That causes vehicle to shut down. We replaced Fuel filter @ N/C then drove vehicle with no change, pull rear seat to do further diag (3 hours @ N/C) & found the fuel pump had been previously worked on & was bent-up then back into place, RTV had been installed to cover cut lines, the quick disconnect for fuel lines were damaged. & the fuel pump electrical connector was damaged.Tested fuel pressure which tested @ 4-4.5 bar Specification is 6.0 bar. We recommended replacing fuel pump @ that time.

While I understand the position of the mechanic, the fact of the matter is that I, as a customer, came in with a diagnostic light "on", and despite attempts to remedy the issue, not only did I leave with said light still "on", not only did I pay for said service, but the vehicle was not even in operable condition. It was only after 1 mile of driving that I immediately returned to demonstrate that the vehicle was in worse condition than when I first arrived. The service I wanted to receive was not performed, and any business with integrity will recognize this simple truth, despite any disagreement. I kindly ask to be refunded.
