Review: In July 2013, I entered into a contract with [redacted] of Honest Landscaping and Interiors, to do some landscaping work at my home. This involved planting small trees, shrubs, flowers, and mulching. Written on the contract is her 1 year guarantee on new plantings. Contract specifically states "guarantee 1 year from install." If any new plants that she planted die within a year of install, she will remove dead plant and replace with new ones free of charge. Because of this guarantee, I agreed to have the work done. In April 2014, it was evident that the 2 "Layland Blue" trees that she planted are dead. These trees flank my front door. I called [redacted] on Wednesday April [redacted] and left her a voice mail. She promptly called me back within several minutes and I told her about the 2 dead trees. She said no problem and that she would take a look at them on Friday when she was in the area. I was very happy with this and confident that she would plant 2 new trees to replace the 2 dead ones. My wife Mary called [redacted] the following week to follow up. [redacted] told my wife that she did stop by the house and agreed the trees were dead. She said she would remove the trees the following Tuesday, May [redacted], and then plant new tress on Wednesday, May [redacted]. When [redacted] did not show, my wife called her on Thursday, May [redacted] and left a voice mail inquiring as to when she will come to remove the dead trees and replant new ones. It is now Thursday, May [redacted], and [redacted] has never called us back and has not been to our home to do this job and honor the contract. In fact, my wife and I have left approximately 7 voice mails for [redacted] since then and we have yet to hear from her. As I mentioned before, I was once confident that she would honor the contract/guarantee. Now my wife and I no longer have the confidence that this matter will be resolved so we are hoping the Revdex.com can help.Desired Settlement: We simply want [redacted] to honor her contract. This means removing the 2 dead Leyland Blue Trees and replanting 2 new ones. It is very clear that these new plantings are guaranteed 1 year from install. [redacted] even said she would take care of this when I first reached out to her, so I do not understand why she will not show up to honor her contract or even return our phone calls.
