Dear Revdex.comOne afternoon, Ms*** come into our yoga center to purchase our "Brand New Beginner" ( BNB) courseShe told me she was in severe pain and that her doctor told her to start yogaShe also said she had tried many other things to try to relieve this physical painI enrolled her in the
course & told her to please get her doctor to email me about what was going on with her & why did he/she recommend yoga.I never received an email from her doctor. Where she purchased her course there is a sign that clearly states our policy on refunds: "No refunds, only session transfer.''The BNB course that she purchased met for weeks on Monday & Wednesday nightsIt also includes any other classes or deep relaxation during those weeks.Ms *** arrived on Monday night for her first class with meShe did not listen to the directions of how to hold her bodyShe said she was still in painI gently tried to help her therapeutically but she was resistant ,so I stoppedI have over hours of teacher training and many of those hour are in therapeuticsI have helped people with many ailments and have had students stop getting injections for pain due to their sessions with meWhen a student is resistant, however, it takes longer for their healing. Ms *** was in group with womenThree woman were between the ages of 65-years old and two other woman were her ageThey all finished the program and of them purchased membership packages once the program completedThe ages of the other woman prove the class is gentle & therapeutic. The next day after the first class, Ms *** called to tell me she was soreI told her that is common when starting a new movement program as muscles are working that may not have been used recentlyShe said she would come Wednesday night. On Wednesday night, she arrived to take BNB class with ***, one of my staffI again asked her to please get her doctor to send me an email about her conditionShe said she would & said she did not like being adjustedI told *** to only verbally cue her and not assist her*** has completed over hours of teacher training and was teaching the class #of the course I designedShe is a wonderful teacher.*** informed me that *** did not follow her directions and held her body out of alignment in a painful looking way. After the first week of the week program, *** called & emailedI responded to her email & spoke to her on the phone. She said she did not want to attend BNB anymoreI told her there are many other ways yoga can helpI told her of possible private lessons that could be designed especially for her if the doctor could send the information I had been asking forI suggested she take the Deep Relaxation that was included in her courseI said I could work privately with meditative yoga and help her healI again asked if the doctor would send me info on her injuryI told her I still had not received anything from the doctor.I really wanted to help ***I wanted her to find a life without painI have worked with many students and have helped them start living pain freeI have researched after their doctors sent me info and designed what is right for that particular individual.I am sorry that *** is in painI wish she would have had her doctor contact me like I repeatedly asked her to doI know I could help herI am still open to help her even though she wrote this letter. Here is a link stating that we only have session transfers:http://www.honestyogacenter.com/yoga/pricing/Thank you*** ***
