I bought a reconditioned hot tub from Honey SpasIt never work correctly from the day it was deliveredAs soon as I turned it on for the first time, multiple parts fell off, I found ball bearings all over the bottom, the blower stopped working and it blew my circuit breakerI couldn't get the water clean and when I took the filter basket apart, I found out it had no filter cartridge in itI went in person to the Honey Spa store and asked Tim to please check out what is going on with this spa and he sent out his daughter outI found a note stating "Hot tub is in working order", and nothing was doneIt finally became unusableWhen I called again, he said someone could look at it in a week or so and it will cost $an hourHe refused to stand by the product he sold to meI felt that having his company out would be useless and a waste of money so I called N*** Hot TubsThe owner of this company came out the same day and evaluated my hot tubWhat he found was sickeningIt was wired incorrectly and none of the electrical wires were groundedIt had no debris basket in placeThe jets were totally shot, the blower was shot, the cabinet was shabbily made and was not made out of pressurized lumbar and will probably last less than yearsGary from N*** was able to rewire and make my hot tub usable on the first visitIt will probably cost me another $to have my "reconditioned" hot tub reconditioned correctly by someone who knows what he is doingAfter doing some research I have discovered there are so many of us that have been burned by Tim Honey, we could start a support group From what I can gather, he has been sued multiple times and keeps changing the name of his company to avoid the legal charges He also brags about how he can do whatever he wants and because he is a Mason and many of his "masonic brothers" are cops, lawyers and judges he gets away with it Nice The masons must be quite the shady group

Review: The provider made addition charges to my credit card with out my permission. The service was not completed in a timely manner. The services were not completed to my satisfaction. My hot tub was spitting out large pieces of plastic when we turned on the jets. I was told it was ready to use. It was not .I called Honey spas 11/20/13( just Got the CC receipt in the mail today(11/20/13) and was told that the last charge was a mistake but because I complained about the service that I would have to fight him ( [redacted] Honey ) for the $100.70). I never authorized these additional charges. The service was poor.Desired Settlement: Refund of my costs to clean out the plastic in the hot tub, $125 labor for drain, refill and clean with bleach. Refund of additional charges to my credit card without permission.$100.70.

The only charge I authorized was $2851.40. To repair hot tub. I have no idea how much they have charged my card in total without my permission.

I have canceled my card because of them.

Dear Sir,

Be advised [redacted]. [redacted] hired our company to install 2 pumps and 1 new control pack. The total coat of this project was $2,952.10, as per policy [redacted]. [redacted] was billed $2,851.40 on 10/30/2013 In order to pay for the equipment, with 1 hour of labor remaining to be billed upon completion. On 11/15/2013 the project was completed the balance was billed.

I have enclosed a copy of [redacted]. [redacted]'s invoice, however I redacted her credit card information. Please take notice at the top of the invoice; the client signed a work authorization. We would respectfully request that you direct your attention to the bottom of the Invoice, where the client and or agent of signature certify satisfactory completion of above described work.

We believe that the invoice will correct [redacted]. [redacted]’s misperception that service was not completed in a timely manner. We were at no time hired to address the customer's hot tub hygiene and sanitation.

We hope the enclosed invoice sheds the appropriate light on this unfortunate misunderstanding. We have also been contacted by the customer’s credit card company and have provided them the appropriate documentation. As always, we are grateful for the trust that our clients place In us. If there is anything further we can do to clear up this situation such as providing photos of the customers project before, during and after we would be grateful for the opportunity to assist in arriving at an amicable and fair resolution.

Review: Please stay away from Honey Spas. We purchased a swim spa from them in January for $13,600.00. We paid in cash and promptly at the insistence of [redacted] Honey to help keep his men working through the winter. We were promised delivery by the middle of May, but it was delivered Memorial Day weekend and we had to provide 95% of the manpower. We were promised by [redacted] Honey in front of all the men of my family and friends that whatever we needed he would be there for us. It is only his second swim spa, so he said there may be some issues but he would be there for us every step of the way. Our swim spa has only be in for three weeks and has silicone rings floating in it every time we turn on the jets. We bought additional chemicals for $300.00 and two more filters, that we never received. He never came over to instruct us how to dispense the proper chemicals and the jets as he promised. My husband had to go to honey spas, where his wife gave him a little pamphlet on programing the filtration system Our swim spa has been green and slimy now for a week. My husband called [redacted] Honey and left a message to inform him about the condition of the swim spa in the beginning of the week with no response. I private messaged him on face book about returning our call and the state of the swim spa. He finally called and was very defensive and argumentative with my husband. He told him that he would send his daughter out to get a sample today which never happened. I posted a comment about hoping anyone in the future who buys a swim spa, once it's delivered, I hope they hear from him. He called our home phone last nigh twice and my husband's work cell phone twice last night, leaving a very irate, rude message demanding an apology. I spoke to him this morning 6/19 to no satisfaction. He told me I should behave and apologize to him. He spoke to us about the previous owner in a derogatory manner calling [redacted]' wife the most horrible * word he ever met. I told him how unprofessional I felt this was calling his customer such horrible things and that it is slander and unprofessional to share that with us. He informed me that when he speaks about me to his customers he will be using the same vernacular unless I behave and apologize. I responded to him that he was misogynist, and hated women. He responded, "that's right I hate women, that's the way I will always be, take it or leave it." Is this the way you treat your customers who paid $12,600 for a product, you will not stand by? Scream, yell and insult them when they need their swim spa serviced. My husband called him to admonish him to never speak to his wife in this manner. He told my husband if he wanted the 2000 lb. spa serviced to bring it in. Is this professional behavior? For the extreme price your paying for this product, the quality and customer service is not there. The cheapest materials were used for the cabinet of the swim spa. He still would not do anything about this $12,600 green pond. It is expensive lawn furniture now. When my husband brought the water sample over to [redacted] Honey, his daughter informed us the bromine was too low, which means the filtration system isn't working correctly to distribute the chemicals throughout the swim spa. He still refused to help us and threatened to tear my husband apart. He also refused to give us our 30 year warranty which is part of our purchase agreement and to take legal action to get it, which we have done. We also filed a report with the police for the harassment and threat to do bodily injury to my husband. Don't ever do business with this man or his company. You will regret it.Our attorneys received a warranty from Honey Tubs that is virtually useless.Desired Settlement: For Honey Spas to stand by their words with a warranty covering parts and labor.
