What a blessing! Called early Monday morning, picked up the phone right away (no voice mail...YEA!). Sent him a picture of the leak. When I got home, the repair was done and the bill was under the mat.

Great customer service, professional, here when he said he was...couldn't ask for more. I know who I will call next time I have plumbing issues!

First experience was positive, so I wrote about it. So, when I had a serious leak I immediately contacted Honey Doo. He told me he would be out same day. I asked for an estimate and was told "Don't worry. I'll take care of ya. I'll give you a discount." 3 days later he was here. Hole was already dug. About 15 minutes of work and maximum 18 inches of copper pipe was $375. I was shocked. As he left he thanked me for my Customer Review on the Revdex.com from the previous experience.

I called him the next day and told him I felt that was an exceptionally high fee for 15 minutes and he told me "sorry". I called around and the highest estimate for what he did was $300.

I write if I feel strongly, positive or negative. Both times he refused to give me an estimate. I thought the first one was high, but acceptable since he came out the same day and I was desperate. This time, he failed miserably in reasonable rates and timeliness.

I would NEVER call Honey Doo for plumbing repairs again! Very disappointing and I feel he took advantage of the situation. If you do use Honey Doo, I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to make sure you get an estimate BEFORE he does the work. I think he makes good money using this tactic - no estimate, just charge AFTER the work is done. This must be a very profitable way for him to make a buck; however, in my opinion it is a DISHONEST DOLLAR!
