I have never worked with such incompetent people until I worked with Aero Federal credit union and there staff at the 79th Ave locationMy sister is a co-signer on my vehicle and I'm sure that anyone that has needed a family to co-sign for them can understand that alone is a stressful thingIts stressful knowing there is no wiggle room to be late without them calling my sister or any family member at that and informing them and alarming them that the payment has not been paidInstead of my sister getting that call from the bank unexpectedly I of course like to give her a courteous call and let her know myself that I left a balance of $and will be paying that days lateHowever when people that work for the bank call her to inform her that the payment is delinquent and that her sister is ruining her credit will obviously make any person upset since overall its her neck that is on the lineFor a bank to call someone and ruin there day by informing them that there sister is ruining her credit because the payment has not been paid at all was ridiculousThese ladies at the bank let my sister think that nothing paid on this loanSince she has the right to know about the loan in general don't you think they should have told her that there was a balance of only $That way it gives the co-signer the ability to pay the small balance of $and not have there credit ruined by her ungrateful sisterFor a bank to call someone and make it seem like nothing was paid was the most unprofessional scenario from a bank that I have ever expierencedThese ladies rather hang up the phone knowing they let someone think that there wasn't a penny paid on this loanAs a co-signer you agree to take care of the payment if the person you co-signed for isn't able to do thatSo instead of stressing someone out where there getting sick to there stomach trying to figure out how there going to pay this bill so there sister indeed doesnt ruin there credit and come home ready to go to war because the bank wanted her to think that nothing was paid is mind blowing to meThe bank could have easily told my sister that she paid everything but a $balance that would have been the logical thing to do instead of trying to make a person stress out more by allowing them to think nothing was paid and causing a family fight by allowing her to think NOTHING was paid at all blows my mindAnd to make matters worse I call the bank trying to get an explanation of why call someone and allow them to think that ZERO was paid and that the person was ruining there credit and the manager tells me that didn't happen as if were both lyingThe whole costumer is right didn't apply to this situation at all, Instead the manager of all people say DONT BE LATE AND THAT WOULDNT HAPPEN is disgusting to meThe manager was more curious that I can take my kids to work with me than to apologize for anything, This manager literally apologized to me for my sister being upset and escalating the problem as if it was her fault that they gave her the impression of it not being paid at allThe manager out of all of people couldn't tell me why she wasn't given the balance of $because if that was done she would have had the chance to pay that $and not let anyone ruin her credit for a measly $I do mortgage loans and real estate for a living and if this is the way they treat there members I would NEVER send anyone there to get a loan from them, Nor will I ever send an Owner to open any accounts with themThe most logical thing to have done was to apologize for giving the impression of something far worse to someone than to apologize for the actions of a person that they made think that there family members were ruining there credit by not paying ZERO at this pointAnd the manager just couldn't understand by telling her there was a balance of $how her actions would have been different for everyone involvedShame on the manager there for allowing her staff to call members and tell them that there family is ruining there credit and not tell them the balance so members can come back and say "lady please do not call me and tell me my sister is ruining my credit for a $54.00" That's the first thing she should of been informed of before they make a stupid comment like thatI will and cant let any of my clients ever experience what we have with Aero Federal Credit UnionAnd if they have managers that cant apologize for there employees incompetence can you imagine how they handle other situationsThey clearly don't go off the customers always right there policy is not to apologize because that's how they handle situations they call members and make it worse by allowing them to think that nothing was paid vstelling her the truthThere is no way I would recommend anyone especially anyone that needs a cosigner to ever go thru them to get treated in this manner where they physically try to cause family rifts by allowing them to think something far worse than telling them the balance and giving that member the opportunity to just pay it so they don't have to hear people tell them there family is ruining them
