If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I thank you, the BBB, for helping me resolve the issue. I thank [redacted] of Payne Motors for his reviewing the complaint and issuing the credit. All was done in a timely manner and I am very satisfied.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint
Sent: Monday, February 01, 10:AM Subject: Re: You have a New Message from Revdex.com Regarding Complaint #***I need a letter from the dealership (Weslaco Motors) addressed to *** at the following address: *** *** *** *** *** The file number on the letter should Be File #***This letter is to state that they the dealership is authorizing that all the inquires submitted on their behalf can be removed from my credit report as no deal was done They submitted multiple inquires to so many lenders that now I can't even go any where else. The Finance Manager for another dealership informed me that they use this tactic against you when you don't purchase from them. It is illegal, yet they do that so that you the consumer get turned down anywhere else.I don't know if the dealership is willing to get the letter submitted or if they can call *** to get that off my credit report. If not, I have to wait years for that. Please advise
Regards,

I am very surprised at this complaintFirst, we had a vehicle traded into to our store with a Texas title by a customer who purchased the vehicle used from a used car dealership in the areaHe had no knowledge it was stolen and we had no knowledge it was stolenWe were given a Texas title and
the out of state vehicle had to have a *** *** Inspection before you can apply for a Texas title (vehicle was stolen in New Jersey)The State Inspection covers or more different areas on a car and one of those is the "Motor, Serial, or Vehicle Identification Number"I do not know what the inspector checked, it may have been the door serial number plate or the windshield dash number, etc., but it was accepted as a good number
This customer took the vehicle after he completed the purchase and paid for the car from our dealership and we assume he drove or had it driven to Houston to have it shipped out of the countyThe ports do a very detailed, in depth review of every vehicle being shipped before they will allow the vehicle to be shippedThe inspection is much more detailed that the inspection when a vehicle is titled from out of stateThey found the vehicle was stolen or year before it was titled in Texas and it was several weeks after the customer purchased the car from us
We have submitted the information on the vehicle to our insurance companies (different companies) and are waiting on them to see if they will cover the vehicle
The dealership owner who purchased has been kept abreast of the progress, however the insurance companies have been very slow to give us an answerI do not know if they are waiting for the Florida dealer to apply to his insurance company or it is the amount of investigation they are doingI am not the insurance company and I also have to wait on their reply'sMrJaber is very aware of this, thus I am surprised - this will not make the progress any faster, we still have to wait on the insurance companyI am not sure who is responsible for the stolen car

On January 2, Mr*** inquired about a vehicle on the internet with usAfter speaking to one of our sales managers he came in to see if we could help him trade in his current vehicleAccording to him, he had already been at a couple of dealerships and they "did not want to help him and
could not get him approved"We reviewed his credit application and based off the income he reported and current work history provided on the credit application we felt we could get an approvalWe submitted his application and did receive a conditional approval with one of the lendersWe called to speak to one of the supervisors at the bank in order to get a full approval for Mr***During our conversation with the supervisor, she reviewed the application and did inform us that Mr*** had already submitted an application with them for a personal loan at a local branchShe also informed us that Mr*** had stated he was making less income than he had stated on the application he provided to usSince there was a discrepancy in income, she requested that we send her a copy of his current pay check stub and any other proof of income to be reviewed before she could provide us with a final approvalWe informed Mr*** that we needed his proof of income so we could send it to the lender for reviewUnfortunately for Mr***, this lender does not accept income received in cash or miscWe did provide the lender with the proof of income that Mr*** provided and after review the lender would not approve him for the full amountWe informed Mr*** we were going to try different lenders to try and get an approval for himAfter several attempts with different lenders, we were unable to get him approved for the full amountWe did ask him if he knew of anyone that would be able to co-sign for himAt this point, we could tell that he was frustrated and he told us he was going to return the truck and no longer wanted to purchase a vehicle from usWe do have a signed credit application giving us permission to submit his application as well as email chats where he did contact us inquiring about purchasing a vehicle
