We unfortunately had to go through different property managers since the tenant [redacted] was placed in the unit Upon my own internal investigation I have concluded that the initial property managerneglected her duties (she is no longer with our firm) The second property manager was correct in telling the tenant she would not be charged However, he did not process the invoice correctly Because the tenant did pay her rent in advance this error did not show until her reserves were lower She contacted us at that time It took me a little while to figure out what actually transpired The end result is that as of last week the charge was removed from her account What we think actually happened was that the unit next to her had a clog (back to back drain lines) When they cleared their side it pushed the clog to our unit When we had the clog cleared we had theplumber go in from both units to make sure the clog was cleared and not being pushed back and forth I spoke with the tenant last week and advised her of my findings and that the charge would be removed She said she would pull her complaint once she is satisfied that it has been removed Unfortunately, the timing was not ideal and we all have to deal with this complaintShould you need any more information or have any other questions please contact me
