Hood Communications Reviews (11)

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me The business called me and we worked out an arrangementThank You!

Mr [redacted] complaints are not entirely trueAt no time did we leave equipment in his yard for weeksWe work in the utility easement and restore to same or similar upon completion of the projectDespite unfounded accusations, we have restored his yard to the same or better condition than prior to any work done

I have already reviewed this complaintReporting to the Revdex.com simply wasted the customer's time and the Revdex.com's timeI personally visited this location on 12/12/and viewed the yardWhile I truly believe that there was not previously formidable grass before excavations commenced, I chose to avoid
further complaints and fight on the customer's behalf by requesting approvals from at&t to place sodThere were clovers and patches of grass previously, but not a grass cover by any meansHowever, we at Hood Communications make every effort to leave each area as good or better than we found itWe have been working this restoral into our schedule since Friday 12/and we intend to complete it as soon as possibleIt was unfortunate that this job was an emergency dig that ran late into the night in a residential area lending to "getting off on the wrong foot" from the beginningWe have no intention of the job finishing with the same regardI appreciate your patience and you should be seeing a restoral soon

In response to Ms*** rejection of our previous response: The picture sent shows that the grass was sparse on the slope at bestRegardless this is not even an issue since the At&t manager has already given the approval to place grass in that very large area as stated in the previous responseWe do not know which neighbor spoke to our employee, but he stopped our employee before he even got to the site to ask about the dog being outside on the front porchSince this happened prior to our employee even getting to the site, I can only surmise that he could not possibly have let the dog outPlease do not misunderstand, we are sympathetic to your loss but we did not cause this

I am rejecting this response because:
When the hood communications employee was on site at our home he pointed out the house of the neighbor he claimed to have spoken toThat is the neighbor that we spoke withAgain, he is willing to give a written statement to the fact that he did not say that he did not know who our dog belonged to, and that he did not see our dog out until Hood communication entered our backyardOf course a hood communication employee will lie and not want to admit to letting our pet out considering that he would have to deal with repercussions of his actionsMy neighbor has no reason to lie. We also had the chance to talk to the hood communication employee that was on site when our dog was let out and he apologized several times and told a story of his own dog getting let out of his own backyard and getting hit by a car and how devastated that he wasIf he did not let our dog out than why did he apologize numerous times throughout the day while he was working

I am rejecting this response because: I attached a photo of our back yard showing our grass up to the point of where they dug up our yardWe very clearly have grass up to where they damaged it
Also, I have spoken to our next door neighbor who they claim said he didn't know our dog and he said that he did not say thatHe said he told them *** belonged to usI do not know of very many neighbors that live as close as we do that would not know what his neighbors dogs look like especially because his kids often play in our yard with our dogsSo which story makes better sinceHe also said *** was not out until hood communications entered our propertyHe is also willing to give a written statement to back this upIn addition, how could a lb great dane escape a yard without any holes or open gates? He was in our backyard when we left home and was gone after hood communication entered our yard without noticeAfter carefully examining our yard and fence the only way that *** could have gotten out is through an open gate because there is no holes in our fence at allPlus we have two other small dogs that did not get outIf there was a way to escape wouldn't all three of them have gotten out instead of just the one large intimidating dog.

While Hood Communications recognizes that the loss of a pet is very difficult, we did not take part in losing Ms. [redacted]s Great Dane. There are several inconsistencies in Ms. [redacted]s statement. First and foremost, the dog in question was out on the front porch when Hood Communication's employee went...

to the address. A neighbor of Ms. [redacted]s can also attest to that fact. The other statement that is incorrect is that we dug up the back yard and took 3 weeks to cover it. We went out on 7/21/2014 to dig. We had to leave it open in order for the At&t technician to fix service to that area. We did place fencing and plywood for safety. We are at the mercy of At&t to complete the work and notify us to fill the holes. It was on 7/30/2014 that we returned and backfilled the hole, not 3 weeks by any means. Also, Ms. [redacted] states that we have not been back to restore the grass. I spoke to the At&t manager, [redacted] at ###-###-####, on 8/8/2014 who told me that Ms. [redacted] didn't even have grass in her back yard when we began work. He has authorized for Hood Communications to go place sod at Ms. [redacted]s simply as an [redacted] branch to stop further issues. Further it is a very significant amount of sod that will be of great cost to At&t in the form of materials and labor. We do not wish to anger Ms. [redacted] any further, but there is no basis for her complaint against Hood Communications. If further information is required, the At&t Manager [redacted] can be reached at ###-###-#### or by email at [redacted]@att.com. The technician, who may also be able to add insight, is Nate at ###-###-####. I thank you for reviewing this information.
