Their payment processing software charges you on failed attempts to complete purchase. This occurs when their system determines you have incorrectly entered your billing address, even if you entered it correctly. These chargers remain deducted from your account for up to 7 days. Terrible, rude customer service and poor responsiveness. Do not use. Not worth it.
I placed an order from HookahJunkie.com, within 24 hours of the product being delivered I discovered the product was defective. I contacted the vendor immediately via email, including a photo of the defect. After 12 days I still had not received a response, and called. I was told the issue was common with this product and to accept it, however it is not, other people do not have this problem. I was told the returns policy does not include electronic burners, and I would have to sort it out with the manufacturer, however when I was being told this, I was on the Returns information page. I was asked to wait 1-2 minutes while he booted his computer to direct me to the policy, while waiting I heard someone typing. I was directed to the product listing where there was now text that said "We do not offer any warranty on this product. All sales are final on electrical items." I was given contact information for the manufacturer, and I hung up. After reflecting on the interaction for a few minutes, I had suspicion that he was changing their website, so I navigated back to the product listing page, and the text was different this time as well. Now there was additional clarification on their "policy", this time is said "We do not offer any warranty on this product.
All sales are final on electrical items. We do not except returns on this item all defects must be issued with manufacturer."
I have proof their website was edited today. Webpage Last Modified dates are readily/publically available, and browsers cache websites. I think is it super shady a company would edit their website, then use it to enforce a "policy" pretending it was there all along.
This Is in reference to ***. Customer complained the product has a defect. With the tray. After being used. We contacted the manufacturer and they said there is no defect in the item. The tray forms flat once it is heated. Our policy on these items are non refundable and no returns on Electronic stove tops because we do not know how the customer may use it or leave it outside in weather conditions. We also have the customer the manufacturer information where they can take care of it further. Here is there information as well. Our return policy is clearly stated on the. Item and returns page.i***
