Due to the fact that this complaint has no vehicle information, I can only assume it is here say, first of all no business of service provider offers free service nor do we portray ourselves as a provider for the policesecond to insinuate that my company is not a bona Fide service
provider or that my company is a so called chop shop is insulting We don't even have a garage like stated nor do we employee a Craig. Possibly a service was provided for A P in their time of need and now that A P has to pay for services rendered AP wants to make allegations, They couldn't even supply the correct information for us to determine if we performed any servicesPlease do not contact us with this claim as it is frivolous

So you're saying all the phone calls I made are bogus too? I don't understand how you can operate a company and lie you will hear from my lawyer I'm done being niceTrust me I'll get way more then what I am asking for!

Vehicle was parked illegally in unauthorized parking-lot, where signs are clearly visible. As per Philadelphia Towing Ordinance charges are $175.00 for hookup $25.00 for storage and 22.5% tax on storage.

I am rejecting this response because: I never received an invoice from Hooked Inc or my attorney.  I went to Hooked Inc on 12/1/16 to see my car, take photographs and to retrieve a bag I needed from my car.  They refused to allow me to see my car, take photos or retrieve anything out of the car that I needed.  They wanted me to sign a waiver stating that I was cleaning out the car and taking all of my personal belongings out of the car.  While I was present on site, they still did not give me anything in writing  pertaining to fees or an invoice.

This complaint currently is not being handled in court, both lawyers on behalf of Hooked Inc and [redacted]...

[redacted] have been in contact with one another. Hooked Inc. reached out to The General Insurance Company after receiving a claim number from [redacted]. Once coverage limits were verified with The General Insurance they confirmed she does not carry coverage on her policy to have her vehicle repaired or to cover towing and storage fee's, which would make [redacted] responsible to medigate all charges on behalf of her 2007 [redacted]. We have adjusted [redacted]s invoice to better assist her on behalf of retrieving her vehicle. Unfortunately, [redacted] has made no effort to remove the vehicle and storage fee's are accumulating daily.

Review: I was recently in a car accident and their towing service towed my car to their lot. They gave me the wrong information on the towing agreement as far as the address and any fees that would be included. They also told me that they would give me an estimate of the damages and to call the next day. I called the next day which was a business day, and no one picked up. I left a message for them to call me back, which they did not. I called again the next day which was a Saturday. A man answered the phone, I gave him my informaation so I could pick up my car, he tells me that my car was totalled. He then said that I would be putting to much money in to fix it than what it was worth. I asked if I could pick my car up that day and he said the billing deparment was closed on weekends. I told him I called and left a message the day before and no one got back to me. I also wanted to get the correct address when the man who told me is name was Bob started to get confrontational. I went up there on Monday to get my car and they told me that it would be $700 to get my car out after they took $200 of fees that they were unable to explian to me. Also, they never gave an amount for storage until that day which turned out to be $50 plus tax which they rounded to $60. The hookup was $200, $Hwy cleanup was $100 and secure loose parts was $75. I ended up paying atotal of $700 to get my car out in cash, because that is their only form of payment. Also, the battery from my alrm was removed and also the right hubcap was missing and was there when they towed my car away.Desired Settlement: I would like for someone to do an investigation into their business so not one else gets scammed by this business. If all that happens is an investigation that is fine, but I would at least like a refund for the money I paid to get my car out because of the missing hub cap and battery to my alarm. Also, The storage fees are not coming up correctly if they are using an 8% sales tax which I don't think they did. Anything that you could do will be greatly appreciated.

Review: After an accident I was told they were dispatched by police, and I am being extorted for $750 or the title for my car despite being quoted as $75 to store for 24 hours while I get my own car trailer to pick up my vehicle after the accident. I was assured they were "With the police" and had to get my car off the road, since there was no shoulder. When I called to confirm the next morning I was screamed at and told to "bring the cash or the title for my car"

My mechanic went over to see the car and they would not let him access the car to assess damages so my car is still on their lot.

I am afraid to contact them without some kind of legal representation.Desired Settlement: I want my car relinquished to my mechanic in Philly so I can pick it up myself. This is not a "bonafied" garage or storage facility and looks like a chop shop!
