Hookmaster Tree Service of 542 Woodland Church Rd.Wake Forest, NC XXXXX, owners [redacted], (XXX)XXX-XXXX and [redacted], (XXX)XXX-XXXX. On July 3, 2014 Hookmaster Tree Service did promise to remove four trees and remove all debris from our residence. During the tree removal service a limb from the tree fell on our neighbors irrigation back flow pump destroying the pump and shearing it from the water pipes. I had previously obtained and confirmed their insurance provider. I called [redacted] Insurance and informed them of the issue. [redacted] and [redacted] had done previous service at my residence, so a level of trust had been developed. The had the tree's removed but left all the debris from the four downed trees with the promise to return and remove the debris. I was out of town for the holiday but when I returned none of the work was completed. Several phone calls to [redacted] and [redacted] provided promises to return and retrieve the debris and clean up. To date July 29, 2014 HOOKMASTER TREE SERVICE has failed to provide the full service negotiated and was paid for. The are now refusing all phone contact. Thankfully the neighbors children and pet were not in the area when the limb fell. These two individuals [redacted] and [redacted] are scammers and liars. They can not be trusted to complete the work promised or safely. They told me that they could not use the timber for resale because the could not cut the tree to the required length. They did however cut and measure the three trees, a second business arrived, removed just the measured timber and informed me that they were going to sell the wood to a mill. I have filed an insurance claim for the damaged pump with their insurance provider.

After collecting all the cash money for cutting down the trees. They never returned backed as promised to finish take out the last few trees. It was around Aug 2014. By word of mouth, I hired [redacted] from Hookmaster Tree Service to cut down trees on my property, and I was specific as to what area. I was quoted $2000. They only accepted cash. It would take several days to complete the job. On the 2nd day, they brought their girlfriends to hang out and sit and smoke on my front porch. They brought lunches and had to use my microwave to cook the food. [redacted]. They left soda and water bottles on the ground. I gave them the last payment, and they said they would return the next day, which they never did. I have called and left many messages, but they never returned the calls. The cut trees are still in the same spot and are now overgrown with weeds. I don't recall them saying they would remove the debris. They also never gave me a receipt, so I have no proof./////Desired SettlementReturn about 1/4 of the money for the trees they never came back to remove. I do not want them on my property.
