York State Inspection only requires 20% tread. All customers are encouraged to select their own tires before installation. We ONLY install what the customer request on their vehicle. IF customer asks for snow tires, we will ONLY install snow tires or inform them we do not have in stock. It is common for other service shops to tell customers that their tires are too worn if bought from another shop, in hopes to sell their own tires to them. Many shops will say anything to customers to sell their own products or services. We have a 14 day from purchase hold air/satisfaction guarantee that is printed on every customer receipt. This consumer never once came back and tried to resolve this issue with us. We offer exchanges if customer is not happy with product or service. Unfortunately this was never brought back to our shop  within  the 14 days  as outlined  on the receipt. We perform good, honest business with the community we serve.
