When the customer came into my store with an open box she said she was concerned that the plates on top might break While the package was on the counter on top of the scale I put my hand into the box and felt the bubble wrap around the plates I told her they seemed sufficiently wrapped and would probable be ok I did not inspect any of the other packaging nor was I told that buried in the middle of the box (by the way it weighed about pounds) was a ceramic tea pot Had that been packaged by the Mail Hub the tea pot would have been wrapped and then encased in an inner boxShe then insured the complete contents for dollars When I asked her subsequent to the breakage how much the tea post was worth she said dollars, thereby indicating the rest of the contents of the package were worth nothing. We have been in business for years We have never had a situation that we could not resolve Believe when I say this is one customer that can find another location to do her services for her She is completely out of controil

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Contrary to the business owner's representations to the BBB, I never specficially asked him to inspect the plates, since, by his own admission in his response, the plates are worthless. It makes no sense that I would ask him to inspect the packaging of worthless items. The truth is I asked him to inspect the entire box contents to make sure the contents would be safe in transit. Again contrary to his representation to the BBB, he inspected the box while it was on the floor, rather than the scales, and that inspection involved: 1) handling and moving around the contents; 2) lifting the box up and down; and 3) rotating the box a couple of times to check for shifting of contents. I also asked him if instead of packing everything in one (1) box, I should use two (2) boxes with syrofoam peanuts and he said that would not be necessary. Since the business owner seems to have difficulty recollecting the facts, he will probably deny that I have been a customer of his for many years -- one who he has never before claimed to be "completely out of controil" (sic). As the business owner knows, I communicated to him, before he filed his BBB response, that I intended to take future business elsewhere because I discovered that the business owner had told UPS untruths about the packaging presumbly in order to protect his interests. Regards, Susan Van Buren

I am faxing you copies of the original order from our computer and copies of the credit card merchant receiptsOur e-florist orders go to *** and are sent to us on our computer and we must run the credit card on our end*** must have the code on the back of the card to process
the credit card and *** by law can not ask for the code so we must call the customer and ask for the codeWe received the order on 09/19/at 11:AMIt was an all white arrangement and white lilies. We did not have any white lilies so I called and told the the customer and she said to go ahead and send something else as soon as I couldShe called shop around lunch and asked if they had been delivered We said no but we would get there as soon as possible.I called customer at 7:PM and ask for the code on back of cardI ran the credit card at 7:PM and left to do the delivery. We went to the address and knocked on both doors and no one answeredThere was vehicles in the drive in front of the house and one in front of the garage in the backWe took the arrangement back to the shop and redelivered the next morningWhen we arrived at the residence to make the second delivery the same vehicles were parked in the same spots as the night before When I talked to her she said they had probably already left because they all work MidnightsWe were able to deliver the orderA very nice man came to the door to except the orderIt appears that customer is not telling the truth or is confused as to what really happened as you can see by the times on the receipt She texted her friend to see if she received the flowers but never called us at allWe are a flower shop that has been in business for over years and we try very hard to please everyone but it is not always possibleWe did get lilies in the afternoon and we made the arrangement with the lilies and we did attempt to deliver on the 19thand it is not are fault that they were not home or would not come to the doorwe delivered on the 20th.,so we feel that we did our job and the customer received flowers and the sender should pay for services rendered. Thanks!

When the customer came into my store with an open box she said she was concerned that the plates on top might break.  While the package was on the counter on top of the scale I put my hand into the box and felt the bubble wrap around the plates.  I told her they seemed sufficiently wrapped...

and would probable be ok.  I did not inspect any of the other packaging nor was I told that buried in the middle of the box (by the way it weighed about 25 pounds) was a ceramic tea pot.  Had that been packaged by the Mail Hub the tea pot would have been wrapped and then encased in an inner box. She then insured the complete contents for 300 dollars.  When I asked her subsequent to the breakage how much the tea post was worth she said 300 dollars, thereby indicating the rest of the contents of the package were worth nothing. We have been in business for 28 years.  We have never had a situation that we could not resolve.  Believe when I say this is one customer that can find another location to do her services for her.  She is completely out of controil
