Hoosier Plumber Reviews (1)

This leak was due to a frozen and burst water outside hydrant. These hydrants are self draining and designed to prevent freezing. The only way they can freeze and burst is if as hose is left on in freezing conditions, which they frequently are, preventing the cylinder from draining. There were no...

defects with the faucet and the faucet was properly installed. The damaged faucet was removed and left with the homeowner. It clearly shows a horizontal split in the copper, which can only be caused by freezing. The reason the leak didn't show up earlier, is that this portion of the faucet is only pressurized when in use. The homeowner was made aware of this. Why she has made a complaint against my company is confounding to me. As is almost always the case in situations like these, the primary insurance company is desperate to find fault with anyone other than their policy holder in order to decrease their loss. I would ask that you please ignore this complaint, as it is unfounded.    Thank you for your time. Jeffrey D[redacted] President Hoosier Plumber, Inc. jeffreyd[redacted]@aol.com
