The fiancé (female customer) and her male partner originally wanted to exchange candy goods for the Galaxy Note 3, we declined the offer they gave us. We then explained to them we could not accept that...

trade, but we could offer them a lay away "type" offer. We did this to help them acquire our goods. The customers accepted the terms of our lay away and then proceeded to pay $275 to us in the form of a credit card.  After 2 months the party  wanted their money back.  We told her (the female customer)  we could not refund any money to her,  because we do not refund cash on lay-away items.  We told her she could receive in-store credit towards the note 4 which to this day has not been released to this date  and she did not want to wait for the release of this phone.  The fiancé ( female customer)  stated "I need money because I  have recently purchased a house", she asked if we could refund some of the money back, at least $125. We told her yes I could refund that amount to her. She agreed and sign a receipt settling  the dispute.  Her male partner never called or came into the store about this dispute.   We have settled the dispute with the fiancé ( female customer) who is the one who purchased the item, not the Mr. [redacted]. We have contacted Mr. [redacted] today and informed him that we have refunded the $125 to his fiancé. He stated that he was not aware of the fact that we refunded her the money back to her. He agreed that the remaining $150 would settle this dispute he stated that he is going to pick up the remaining money. After this the claim is closed, this afternoon October 7, 2014 and that this would settle the dispute.
