[redacted] Dear Ms***; This is just a note to say the insurance check previously referenced has apparently cleared the bank. Also, during a 'chance encounter' with MrHoover, a check for $was written that also cleared the bank. Therefore the 'out of pocket' expenses have been resolvedThanks; [redacted]

*** *** *** *** * *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ***;Thank you for your call today regarding information about arbitration. As I
mentioned, MrHoover called and is interested in resolving this issueHowever, I told him that we had the same discussion months ago and nothing has happenedHe wants to file a claim with his insurance carrier for some of the damages and pay for some on his ownI do not know why the outcome now would be different than when he proposed the same thing and wanted to make things right at the end June and has not followed through. I did call him yesterday to discuss this, the connection was terrible and was eventually cut offI texted him right after the call and made the following proposal, which I was going to do over the phone. If MrHoover would deliver $2,in cash to cover my out of pocket expenses, I would let the other items mentioned in my complaint valued at $2,go awayThe $2,includes $1,for roof damage caused by him, $to correct a billing error for the quantity of paint, and $for reinstallation of downspouts that he was unable to do. This is a cash only proposal since there is not a good level of trust because of his past action or lack thereof.MrHoover would then need to work with his insurance company to be reimbursed directly. I made this same offer on 8/14/but did not get a responseIf this not accepted, then the additional $2,will remain if we do arbitration or small claims court action. You mentioned that you would forward the proposal to him. Thanks for your help.*** ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response. MrHoover did contact meHe indicated he has filed a claim with his insurance carrierI am currently playing phone tag with the insurance agent. However, I do not have any specific information regarding what MrHoover is thinking regarding a resolutionI'm not sure what the insurance claim might coverIf it does not cover all the damages, then I do not have any idea what resolution is being proposedI would expect to see something in writing rather than a vague verbal conversation on a phone call.My proposed resolution remains on the tableThat proposal is $in cash to cover my out of pocket expensesIf that does not happen, then the additional $in other damages would be back on the table for resolution.I do not consider this complaint resolved
