This particular customer was nothing but problems for us from the startI was considering not doing any more work for her as she consistently was not answering her confirmation callHer fax machine was always onWe discussed it and she
informed me that she would always be at home..so to come aheadWe would go only to have her not answer the door and again a shrill fax machine answered when we calledShe consistently wanted more & more work out of the staffWork that there was no way we could complete in the hrs/cleaners that she bookedDespite all this, I continued to work for her for some timeOn this particular day; I did have new staff, they were trained and I had no complaints from other customers on their workAfter the hrs; I called to see how much longer they would beThey told me that the customer was not happy and that they had to stay and redo some areasThey stayed another minutes which was equivalent to hrs with cleaners(hr eqivalent)The fellow that was vacuuming did have things pulled out in order to do the vaccing and was about to put everything backHe was trying to do a thorough job for herThe girl on the phone was answering my call to see how much longer they would beAfter the extra minutes was up; the customer then called me and it was agreed that I personally would come back the next morning and do whatever got missedI told here she would not be charged for the extra overtime that was required for the staff to thingsShe told me she would not give the payment to the staff but to me when I came back to clean what wasn't satisfactoryI did go back the next day; as we do offer a 100% customer satisfaction guaranteeShe would not answer the doorI tried to call and again there was a shrill fax machine answeringThere was fresh snow that dayThere were no tire tracks or foot prints on that fresh snowI waited another minutes incase she was delayed coming homeI feel strongly that I tried to resolve the matter, *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ***I was willing and was there to do whatever was necessary to anything not done satisfactorilyI feel strongly that she should pay for the first initial hrsHowever; I will not work for this customer againI am walking away from that invoice simply because I realize sometimes you lose, despite my efforts to maintain this customer with honesty & integrity!
