Thank you for the opportunity to respond to our patient's complaint.First, because so many of our patients come to us only when their own doctors have told them that further treatment is useless - essentially having given up hope on them - we're very happy that this patient is able to make a
complaint more than two years:after.she came to us for our services.Setting aside that sentiment, while we'd like to address the specific complaints of this patient, we are severely restricted in what we can say due to health privacy laws(The patient's use of your complaint resolution service, including the agreement to post her comments publicly, do not constitute a valid walver of those protectionsTherefore, we can speak only generally.Hope4Cancer enters into a written contract with all, patientsThe contract is for a twelve-month periodThere's initial inpatient treatment at one of our clinicsfor varying amounts of time depending on the patient's circumstances, then an outpatient program for the balance of the twelve monthscomplimentary homeSupport for the balance of the twelve months, and two 2-day optional, Complimentary, follevaluations at the clinic before the end of the twelve month contract period.For our patients' initial inpatient care, we provide piservice from their hotelWe do not offer piservice for the optional follevaluationsOn occasion we allow a patient to go to a different clinic for the follevaluations, solely at our discretion and on a case-by-case basis,Specifically regarding this complaint, we're confident that Hope4Cancer met its contractual obligationsWhile there is always room to improve communication, and in reviewing this matter itappears there were some.minor misunderstandings along the way, we are not prepared to pay the complainant any money on that basisIt seems to be regularly true that when we attempt to make an exception we merely, encounter more problems, and we feel that happened in this instance,Very truly yours,*** *** ??? I am not accepting their response and I will get a lawyer if they do not compensate me for my day of treatment  missed, my hotel, my shuttle, my plane tickets and my check up that I was coming for and had it all confirmed by hope4cancer.  I never had any conventional treatment by a cancer doctor except surgery on the cancerous tumor in 2011 and it keeps returning.  So yes I am lucky I am here.  I was planning on getting a checkup and more treatments and it was all confirmed with hope4cancer and I made all of my travel arrangements until about the week before and they said I could not return because I hung up  on them.  How unprofessional of them!  So if they don't want to do anything, my lawyer will contact them because they broke this contract.
