The customer unfortunately has her facts wrong:Regarding storage, we do have an in house storage facility, however this does not mean self storage So anytime retrieval is required we charge $for the labor and customer was made aware of this before hand However, we never charged
customer for the retrieval labor.Regarding over charging, we charged exactly what we quoted We were originally told it was a studio apartment, however upon arrival the customer's movables filled a foot truck that was suited for a bedroom apartment We actually gave customer a discounted rate, movers for the price of as he was a vet We also discounted the monthly storage fee.The customer's cash and credit card on file for initial deposit did not cover the cost of the move She is claiming that her purchase price was over $ Customer was charged $750, which they didn't cover We ended up collecting a little over $600.We will not be giving a $refund for a job we are still owed money on, coupled with the fact that they have never paid us and also received discounts along with free services.Customer has also sent numerous inappropriate emails to our company, that spoke to a personal level not dealing with the "issue" she felt needed resolving

Every word *** *** said in his reply is a lie! And I have every conversation in emailsHe NEVER told us about his "in house" storage until after the factThe pictures show what his so called storage actually isHe NEVER said he would charge $if anything needed to be retrieved until after the factHe lied every step of the way and took advantage of my son's situation being in the hospital. *** was told from the beginning (I have in email) that my son had ONE bedroom plus items already packed in the basementThis did NOT fill a foot truckAnother person's items were in ***'s truckI was thereWe moved my son's items out of the fake storage and everything fit very comfortably in a 15' truck! Everything was moved to a 10' x 15', clean, much cheaper real storage unit. *** quoted us a rate with men yet showed up without our approvalThere was no discounted rate for thisAlso have in an emailThere was no discount on "storage" fee as there was NO storageHe lied and said all items were put into TWO storage unitsAll items were put into am old truckers container on a dirty brown stone lot along with someone else's itemsThe men were removing the other person's items when my son and help arrived to remove everything. We were NOT charged $750! We were charge $for ONE bedroomI have the receiptAfter he illegally took my son's last nickel from his debit card when he was specifically told not to, I paid the remainder in cashHe sent acknowledgement of this to my son, which I have in an emailThe remaining money I added to the complaint was because we moved everything out of the fake storage and paid additional to rent a 10' x 15' truck, gas for the truck, deposit on a real storage unit, help to move everything, and the added stress to my son's illness due to all of this. *** *** of Nick's Moving Company lied every step of the way and was extremely rude, unethical, and dishonestI gave numerous compliments to his moversHe and he alone is the issueHis own workers said many negative things about himHow dare he lie and say he gave us discounted prices that we did not payThis whole fiasco was paid in full! Plus a tip for the four movers! He also posts the Revdex.com logo on his website, which is another lieHe is NOT an accredited business and and has an F RATING with Revdex.com. My claim stands

This complaint is with our old Somerville Location which was under different management than our current Cambridge location The Somerville location was shut down years ago So this complaint is not towards our current company location and current management We apologize for the
customer's inconvenience However we would like to offer the customer 20% off on their next move

While we completely understand the customer is upset We also have every email from her which were extremely abusive in nature when we were trying to help her out No refund will be given regardless We are sorry for any hardship she feels that she went through, however the result will be the same regardless of this thread No refund will be given We have emails from her where we are clearly trying to work everything out with her as we had no contact with her son, the client Even offering certain services free We wish her the best and wish there was something we could do...however like mentioned before, no refund will be given on this job

This is correct, this is one of our storage containers These are standard in the moving industry for moving companies who also offer storage, but not self storage which is completely different We made the customer aware of this when we entered into the agreement
