I retained Hope Realty as property manager No inspections were made to either the interior or exterior of the property during the more than months of our contract, even though I requested them The tenants moved out and we were not notified Due to the negligence of Hope Realty, the pipes froze and many leaks erupted Hope Realty does not return calls I was lied to about the condition of the property and the plumbing when I was finally able to speak to an individual I will not recommend this company to anyone and will seek redress for this situation

Our experience with hope realty is very productive, the company are working hard to find renter, our house never been vacant and they are working harder to fix anything need to be fixed and save us money to do soWe appreciate their service

I have worked with Nathan and Jake twice now with selling my home and then my parents homeI am out of the state and they went the extra mile to take care of things when things needed to be fixed or checked on and doing it promptlyThey also managed my house for years after I had to fire another company and I never had damage and they handled everything so I never had to worry about destruction of my propertyThey are a GREAT property management and real estate company!!

I would never use this company for renting, I called early in the morning to schedule a viewing on a property that was coming up for rentAs I was speaking with the receptionist she informed me that no one had called yet for a viewingSo to get a jump start on the process I also turned in the application (first mistake) and paid the fee as well (second mistake)We showed up to the viewing and there were families waiting to see the property and no agentThe tenant had someone available to let people in as we walk aroundThe site said the property would be available the first of July and the tenant had no clue when they are going to move outMaybe next month or the month there after! Uggggg when the agent showed up (late ) I asked a few questions about the property and the application process and come to find out the whole process is a lotterythey make a killing on application fees! Either way first impression was not a good one and I feel stupid for paying the application

Hope Realty Elite is the worse decision any property owner can make in having their property managed. We saw the propertysted for rent and schedule a showing to which the property managers never showed up for. There were two other families that were also waiting to see the property. Then the tenants came out asking why were were parked in front of the house and we explained that we were there to see the property as it was for rent again. They were unaware of any of this. They said they had told the company that they were not going to renew their lease and were never informed that they would be showing the property that day. 3 familes waiting and no one showed up. That should have been our first sign to stay away from them. A few days later my wife was able to see the house and then scheduled another time so that I could join her to see thehouse. We had an appt scheduled to show the house and again they didn't show u p. Then they sent me a message saying that the tenat agreed to show the property to us, which I thought was strange, but we did it anyway. She seemed nice and showe us the house. After tht I scheduled a time to meet the property managers at their office and went through the process of signing the lease and paying the security deposit, first months rent and pet deposit. They told me the wrong amount to pay and I ended up having to pay an additional $400 bringing the total up to $3,039 which I paid using their online system a few weeks later. While I was there they had to redo the lease because of the inaccurate amounts that were listed on it. After that I watch a video on how to sign their lease, again strange. But I did it, asked a few questions, did what was asked of me, paid and left. This was in February. The secretary [redacted] agreed that I would come get the house keys on 30 or 31 March. The current tenants were scheduled to be out on the 15th and they would be able to perform maintenence andinstall a storm door and microwave that we asked to have installed. I called around the 15ht of March to ensure that everything was still on scheudle and we would be able to move in. I was assured that everything was fine. So I put in my 30 days notice where I was living on Ft. Carson and planned to move in that first weekend in April as we had agreed to do. Then several days later I receive an e-mail, not a phone call, but an e-mail asking if we can "push or move in date back a week or so" I responded and said that wasn't the agreement and that I've already put in my notice and I even called to make sure it was still ok. Obviously things weren't going well with the current tenants. I was told that they were trying to buy a house and still didn't have a closing date. I signed a lease in February, and it's now nearing the end of March. it doesnt take that long to get a closing date. So we go back and forth over the next week being told they need another week to get a closing date and so we wait, I call back becuae I never get callbacks from Hope Realty about anything I've asked about, I always have to call and follow up becuase they can't for some reason. That date passes and then they have another and that one passes too without any information. At this point I'm concerned that this is going to fail. I've had several phone conversations where I can't get anything from [redacted] that is concrete. We're supposed to move in the house in a few days and the conversation start to go badly and she is either unwilling or unable to do anything right and keeps lying to me about this deal. With exhange words that are I'll admit not professional from my end, but her inability to do anything and stand by anything she says has gone beyond reaonable and bordering on illegal. After that she refuses to accept calls from me, and either blocks my number or just sends it to voicemail and refuses contact with me, will not respond to my e-mails. I have already asked repeatedly to speak to her boss which is [redacted] the Ownder of Hope Realty Elite. Either she refused to give him that information or she did and he didn't care enough about his business to return my calls or requests to speak with him Either is unprofessional and just plane dumb. At this point I go to seek legal assistance because I can't get them to even speak to me. I was informed by legal counsel that I have two options, I can continue to try and work with them and get in the house or I can demand a refund, and if they refuse I can sue them for Breach of Contact. If they can't give possesion of the house to me on the day the contract starts they are in breach of contract. So I try to call and e-mail more and get nothing so I start calling law firms to find one that practices in this type of law and start the process to hire them and get things going on that end. Then I remembered that I can search the property information through the city public records. So I do that and find thw owners name and start to Google the name and eventally find a phone number. I finally can speak to someone! So I explain the situation to the owner and they were completely unaware that an of this was going on. So they call Hope Realty and start asking questions. Within an hour that all of the sudden I get a plitely written e-mail apologizing for the frustration and ask if we can again push back our moving date to the 1st of May. I decided it was best if I didn't respond to that e-mail mostly since I was already in contact with the owners and they said I could ignore that and deal with them. They were told the house was empty and that we were set to move in. Which was another lie, the tenants were still there. Now granted this isn't the sole fault of Hope Realty EIlite, the tenants were making it difficult for them and not providing information and not abiding by what they said they would do. But that doesn't change the fact that they had a responsibility to get them out of the house by the time our lease started and be able to perform any nesesary maintainence. The tenants contract had expried and they had no right to be there. Later my wife was told that they were extended month to month and ***'s "Boss" had approved it. I'm sorry but that's not legal. I have a signed contract, money has been paid and you can't do that. Then all of the sudden [redacted] changes her tone and says it's not her fault and it's her boss. This whoe time she has shouldered the responibility of everything, then when she can't find a way to argue effectively she passes the buck to someone that no one can talk to about it. The next day I finally get a call from [redacted] and he;s trying to work everything out. He says we can do a refund and forget everything or we can ask him to evict the tenants. He also said that if we don't then he would extend month to month to the current tenants. The owners had expressed to him and me that they want them out and their house back. So again so much misinformation and a business that doesn't understand it's client. I ask to have them evicted and get us in there byt the date we have to move. If he can't do that then we need our money back. He says he can't guarantee that and will try. I e-mail back on monday and he says he hasn't heard from the tenants about the eviction notice. I told him I'll wait until he has that conversation with them depending on how it goes. After another day of back and forth we decide that a refund is in both parties best interests. He still hasn't been able to sit down with the tenants either by choice or their inability to meet with him I don't know. I tell him I'll be at his office at lunch 1230 to pick up the checks. He says they will be ready. I get there and [redacted] is there and has me go talk to the book keeper, and she gets the checks and realizes that [redacted] still needs to sign them, so she goes in the back and has him sign them and brings them back to me and asks if they look ok. I tell her that they look ok and I wait to see if [redacted] or [redacted] will say anything. They say nothing and he hides in the back office. He will probably claim that he was busy working, but it's a cheap way to avaoid providing any kind of customer service. I've been lied to, led on, they tried to manipulate me into working around their inability to do the most basic fuction of a property management company which is to get people out and new people in. The owners are furious at how this has played out and I told them it doesn't really matter if I can move in or not, they need to be aware of their activities and the unprofessional way in which they conduct their business. I was glad to get my money back and to be done with them. Being disrespected in their office at the end was just icing on the cake. I have filed a coplaint with the BBB, this customer review, and will file complaints with other agencies as well. Stay away from them at all costs, and should you wander into their office one day and notice that it looks like a pigstye and like a garage more than an office I hope you'll remember this review. But at least I was able to resolve this witout a lawsuit, but the only way to do that was to find the owners which is not easy for most people. I'm just happy it's over and will never do business with them again, and hope no one else does as well.

My wife and I have had a very good experience with Hope Realty thus farThe application and rental process was simple and they assisted every step of the wayThey are always available to answer our questions and fix anything that we need fixed quicklyI appreciate honest companies like this one

Frankly said -- after two years dealing with them: this business does not get the benefit of the doubt for its practices in customer service & professionalism, and appears to lack empathy with hardworking, tax & bill paying military families The cleverly put character limit on this complaint review cannot contain the numerous work orders we put in that were unpunctually responded to, some having been unanswered for months at a time (and then poorly addressed when answered) When the property we rent went up for sale, this company became sparsely available to discuss concerns -- and will surely create a revisionist history in reply for reputation's sakeWe've never missed a rent payment, never failed to comply with requests, and receive treatment equivalent with someone who refuses to pay rentAs a member of the Armed Forces, who has a background purely in Customer Service, I feel uniquely qualified to objectively call their customer service sub par

They took over from another worthless management company after purchaseNathan begged me to keep my property with Hope RedltyAfter several months of being out of town upon my return I found my property a wreck because Hope never executed their contractual agreement to monitor my propertyThe renter destroyed my carpets walls an well as sinks and disposalBroken garage entry door, and the back yard had not been maintained by the renter for monthsft tall weedsHope never stepped foot on my property and when I finally caught them in lies I terminated them as my mgmt companyNathan has a great way of blaming everyone else then apilogizing for their deficienciesI wouldn't permit this company near my rental property if I were ever asked!!

I would never use this company for renting, I called early in the morning to schedule a viewing on a property that was coming up for rent. I retained Hope Realty as property manager. No inspections were made to either the interior or exterior of the property during the more than 18 months of our contract, even though I requested them. The tenants moved out and we were not notified. Due to the negligence of Hope Realty, the pipes froze and many leaks erupted. Hope Realty does not return calls. I was lied to about the condition of the property and the plumbing when I was finally able to speak to an individual. Never rent a property from Hope Reailty Elite. Rented a property which was not move in ready no one did a walk through after old tenat moved out was given the okay to move in during the weekend I get to the property it is totally filthy the walls Re disgusting the bathroom is gross I was told no one smoked in the property walls and blinds are yellow from smoke the backyard looks like a jungle. I made a call to address the issue I was lied to told the property would be cleaned ASAP which is was not took many phone calls to have any one care about the issues I ended up cleaning the property my self. The staff whom I spoke to was very unprofessional and un caring. Spoke to my neighbor which home is also managed by the same company shared that they had gone through the se experience informed me it takes many phone calls to get any matienance done around the property and sometimes the issues are never addressed. Very upset about my experience with Hope Reailty Elite. It is very unfortunate that when it comes to collecting the rent and deposit and from the get go they staff is very friendly but afterwards it's totally another story.

After reading the negative reviews on here, I was a little apprehensive about visiting a property managed by Hope Realty. We really loved one of their homes, so I called on 6-29 and set up an appointment to see a home on 6-30@2pm. I arrived at 1:55 (I'm always early to everything), and promptly at 2pm, [redacted] arrived to show the house. She was very friendly and walked us through the home. She gave me and my husband realistic expectations regarding the application process. I would highly recommend Hope Realty Elite.

I want to start by saying that I am new to the area, however I worked for a large property management co. in Columbus, OH for 4 years so I know the business. I submitted a rental application through this company early on 7/14. On 7/18 I called to check on it and was told the person that processes has been out. (Never heard of not having a back-up and just not processing applications.) Called back on 7/20 and was told it was still being processed, 6 days later. So I said just cancel it and refund the app fee, to which I was told I would get a call. Called again 7/22, after no call back, to be told that they ran my cc on the 20th and it declined so they cancelled the app. #1 I can prove there is ample $ on the cc, #2 why run my card after I said cancel? Was this a way to keep my app fee after I said no? Not impressed at all with this company and not sure how they are in business. Went through another company yesterday and already have an answer.

We are a military family moving to the Colorado Springs area. We were set to arrive on [redacted] On [redacted], I called and scheduled a viewing for the rental property at [redacted] in Fountain, CO. The appointment was for [redacted], at 1 pm. Today is [redacted], 2014. This morning at 9 am, I started calling the Hope Realty office at [redacted]. No one answered so I left a message. I wanted to confirm the time as I was also scheduling times to view multiple other houses and wanted to make sure I made time for each one. By 10 I decided to call again, no one answered. I kept calling with no luck until 11:30 when someone answered and I was able to confirm the time. We arrived there at 12:50. We waited until 1:30 and NO ONE SHOWED UP. We called while we were there and no one was answering. I had another house to view at 2 so we decided to leave at 1:30 since the other house was 20 min away and by 1:30 we weren't going to have enough time to view the house anyway. After my 2 o'clock appt I called again, no one answered and no one had called me back. After my 3 o'clock appt I called and no one answered. When I got home at 4:30 I called and no one answered. I even tried calling the number listed on the sign in front of the house (which was different) and no one answered that line either. It's the same voicemail. For that reason, I am writing this negative review. I am very disappointed in this real estate company. And disappointed that I didn't get to view a house that could've been my temporary home.

I have worked with Nathan and Jake twice now with selling my home and then my parents home. I am out of the state and they went the extra mile to take care of things when things needed to be fixed or checked on and doing it promptly. They also managed my house for 10 years after I had to fire another company and I never had damage and they handled everything so I never had to worry about destruction of my property. They are a GREAT property management and real estate company!!

I filled out an application with 4 different property management companies - 3 came back - all approved but the home we wanted was through Hope Realty Elite - when they sent a letter telling me that we had been denied due to failing the criminal check. I flipped and asked to speak with someone and copy of what they had because there has NEVER been a problem - obviously there was mistake in the paperwork - was told by the office that there decision is final and hung up on. After looking at the other reviews maybe I dodged a bad situation --- the property we wanted is still on their website - un rented.
