In response to complaint # [redacted] , we are refunding the requested amount of $to the [redacted] account of the clientThe refund is granted, as the business failed to provide an updated estimate for the services provided, in our standard way, The refund was provided today.With regard to the accusation that we influence [redacted] and the interest rates it applies, this is a statement, [redacted] is a separate business and entityThey are a third-party vendor which provides financing to clientsOur hospital accepts [redacted] as a form of payment for services providedThe clients fill out [redacted] 's application and agree to the terms of the financing program which they chooseDocumentation is available to show that the customer selected the 6-month, interest-free program, for a $1000,charge on March 17, 2016.With respect to the accusation of rude treatmen; we refute this statementThis client was asked to seek services elsewhere in a letter dated March 20, 2016, after we contacted the authorities twice, due to disruptive behavior and inappropriate treatment of our staffIf requested, we can provide documentation for these incidents and involvement of the authorities.Please contact me directly should further information be required

Please be advised that this firm represents Hope Veterinary Specialists (HVS)We have received the above referenced complaint and wish to respond to the same, via this correspondencePer your notice, we have not identified the complainant and only
identify her as "customer".Customer filed a complaint which alleges in sum that HVS failed to provide proper care for the customer's pet, performed unnecessary treatment and took advantage of the customerHVS vehemently denies all of these allegationsThe customer brought her pet to HVS on or about December 17, At that time, she entered into an agreement with HVS to provide certain veterinary servicesThe amounts of the estimated costs, at that time, were $3,500-$4,The agreement entered into specifically states that the amounts listed are an estimate onlyAttached for your reference is a blank Estimate and PaymentPolicyCustomer received a similar document and signed the same prior to any services being performed by HVSAlso attached for your reference is a list of the services provided with portions redacted to protect the identity of the customerThe services provided were necessary; unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done to save the petCustomer was kept apprised of the treatment and status of the pet's healthWhile the final bill was more than the initial estimate, customer throughout the process was contacted and approved of the services provided.HVS recognizes that the loss of a pet is a traumatic event in anyone's lifeHVS is deeply saddened by the loss of any customer's pet and is regretful that customer believes that HVS did anything, but provide the utmost care for their petHowever, the allegations set forth in customer's complaint are simply untrue and unfoundedIf you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact my officeVery truly yours,
