Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution. Please respond here ONLY] The work was not finished to the standards of the electrical inspector. They were supposed to come back and finish the work, but got mad and refused to finish it. We will have to pay another contractor to finish the work they charged us to do. We also had to pay extra for the labor and materials to have the roof repaired after they put the weatherhead on the roof. The contractor who did the trenching had to redo the conduit pipe that Hopkins County had installed in order to meet Kentucky Utilities standards. This is charges from three different contractors that we have to pay due to either unfinished or inferior workmanship. I did not mention the inappropriate comments until I was asked by the son as to whether I would use their company again, or recommend the company at my place of work. I told the son that what I said about the comments were just between me and him. I would not have said anything if I knew he was going to repeat the comments to his father. I feel that the owner thinks he can say anything he wants, knowing it is my word against his, but if it wasn't true, then why would he refuse to finish the work they were hired to do? No one should be able to not finish work, or do inferior work, based on someone telling the truth.

Response: As to the disagreement over the electrical service for the complainant This was a verbal contract and we did service to accommodate the homeowner as quoted. We told the homeowner it would have to be trenched and run up a pole. We were told by the homeowner that all the trenching would be provided by Kentucky Utilities. We were called and asked to quote an electrical job for the complainant. We went out on July 11th. The complainant has been a long time customer and we have done numerous jobs for her and her family. Never was there a mention of anything inappropriate in the past. On other quotes, her husband was not present with no ill results. All jobs went exceptional and no problems occurred. On July 11th I went to their home to do the quote. I spoke to the complainant and do not recall any inappropriate language or comments of any sort that would justify as making the complainant feel uncomfortable. The complainant called the office a few days later stating that she was in a hurry for the quote as they were anxious to get the work finished on their new building and wanted to know that due to past history with us if they could make payments over time. Due to their prior history we deemed it possible. We asked for a $1,000.00 down payment with remaining balance to be paid at $200.00 per month until paid in full and that interest would accrue until the balance was paid in full. The complainant had every opportunity to mention being uncomfortable on the day of the estimate. When she called to check on the quote, she had opportunity to mention being uncomfortable and she didn't . When she asked for terms of payment she never mentioned being uncomfortable. When the job started the complainant never mentioned to my son any inappropriate language and/or being uncomfortable. Only when a disagreement arose did she mention being uncomfortable and that the owner should not go back because he was the one that made her feel uncomfortable. She commented to the son that she was frequently there by herself and that her husband traveled a lot. The complainant told my son, that I was inappropriate and wondered why I got angry. Her type of suggestive language is destructive to a business, a marriage and a relationship between a father and son. Yet, she did not see the harm in the things she said and only when the job was finished did she deem it necessary to bring this up, after having had numerous opportunities to bring this up prior to us starting the job. What the complainant said was brought on by a minor disagreement in an electrical job and aggravated by vindictive nature and an effort to intimidate for money and financial gain. in other wise, an unnecessary situation. If the complainant was so uncomfortable why did she accept our bid, allow us to perform the work and then make accusations of an inappropriate and uncomfortable situation,. It seems unusual that the complainant is only financial reimbursement worth of uncomfortable . It would seem that if she was so uncomfortable with the owner that she would not use their services. It is sad that the Revdex.com is being used for her vindictive intimidation and financial gain on a company that has 45 years of successful business with no complaints. How can one person defend another persons perception of 'uncomfortable and inappropriate' without any concrete evidence other than what the complainant states as her feelings. the complainant should be ashamed of the harm she has done for mere financial gain. The only thing we are asking is to be compensated as agreed upon with the exception of payment is due in full and then there will be no further business transactions between this company and the complainant.
