Review: I like to support family-owned small businesses, so after meeting Tom and Zack we hired them to take out an old tub and install a new tub, update plumbing in the wall and connect the new tub to the drain pipe. We already demoed most of the bathroom ourselves. The tub is not level. They said they are licensed for plumbing but all of the work in the wall to connect the new plumbing leaked. Even the copper was soldered improperly - the copper tube was not pushed into the 90 degree joint fully so the angle was wrong and would have held water and it leaked. We had to hire a local plumber to fix the mess. Then we tested the bath drain. It leaked in multiple places. The ceiling of our downstairs bath was destroyed because of Hoppy's Handyman Services shoddy work. The drain was not lined up with the tub. The rubber gasket used to piece together the new drain and the old was 1 1/2 inches while the pipes are 1 1/4 - there were visible gaps. I have lots of photos. We hired the same plumber to come back and re-do all of the drain. And now we have to re-build the ceiling downstairs. Tom Hopkins, the owner, said he would give us a refund, but that was a month ago.Desired Settlement: Tom H[redacted] said he would return our payment of $1054.54, but that was a month ago and we have called and emailed since and still have not received the promised refund.
