In my opinion he relinquished copyrights when he gave us CDs with the images to do whatever we pleased. I explained in advanced who would be photographed and asked him how much he would charge for a session like that. He set the price of $for services rendered. I am not satisfied with Hord Photography's response because he admitted that he shared the photographs with his "close friend" (my ex-husband) without permission. I am the paying customer and did not give consent to share my photographs with anyoneAt this point, I am not interested in getting the $back, but I want sole possession of the pictures in any form that he may have of my daugther (i.e., digitial, printed, saved, etc)
Word of mouth is very powerful!

For $I traveled to her home, set up equipment, and photographed her daughter along with her sister's familyHer sister's family portraits also included individual portraits and each parent with each childThis type of session would
normally cost at least $I offered to take all of the photographs for $because she was a friend and it would be an opportunity to photograph a close friend's ( her ex-husband's ) daughterFull copyrights where never discussed, therefore understood to remain mineI would be happy to refund the $with the understanding that none of the photographs from the entire session could be used in any way and in doing so would require paying the $session feeI have already asked my friend not to use the photographs, and offered to photograph his daughter with him for free.*** ***
