The Hospital Billing department billed a 3rd party insurance for a basic medical bill so my *** would not pay the bill. Because the hospital had put down *** was responsible. I tried to fix this but the hospital already sent it to collections. I finally was able to contact my insurance and they even varified how the bill was coded wrong. They immediatly sent a payment but the hospital wont remove it from my credit report.
Dear Dispute Resolution Representative:
Our office has been in communication with the customer, ***, numerous times regarding the 12/16/15 date of service in question. His health insurance carrier, ***, had also attempted to contact him according to their website, after initially denying the claim due to a diagnosis involving an accident. Their purpose was to ascertain whether the claim should be submitted to liability insurance.
As a result of his recent communication with ***, his claim has been processed. *** has paid a portion of the claim and assigned $103.37 as his responsibility. Upon receiving his payment, our office will inform our collection agency that no balance remains, and the account will be removed from the agency's balance.
