I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***After almost two years of lacking communication and NO materials produced to do the work requested, we finally requested a full refund We were told at that point, that the deposit would not be refunded because the materials has finally arrived We immediately called and spoke with the owner of Horizon Interiors, *** ***He told us the job would be scheduled within one week, he just needed to contact his carpenter and once again, would get right back to us After weeks of waiting for that return call, we came to the conclusion that Horizon Interiors was NOT a company we trusted to continue doing business with We sent a letter requesting our deposit back via registered mail and never received a response from Horizon Interiors

Customer was given 3 opportunities to cancel the order with a full refund and declined each time. It wasn't until after the product arrived that he decided he wanted to cancel.Horizon Interiors is willing as a concession to give Mr. [redacted] the product as it cannot be returned. This value exceeds his deposit.

letter that he had written to us. I have attached the letter for review. Mr. [redacted] decided after the material arrived that he did not wish to continue with the job and wanted his money refunded. I explained that the material was a special order and if he had accepted my offer to refund prior to the material coming in that I would have gladly done so because at that point I would’ve had recourse with the vendor. Now I have a Tin Ceiling that was specifically ordered for Mr. [redacted]’s home and cannot be returned. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
