Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The car had warped rotors and was a danger to driveI did not notice the warped rotors until I had the car at freeway speeds on my journey out of town with the car and it was too late in that day to take car backFurthermore, I called during the day on Sunday to inquire about ask about return procedures and no one called me backFurther, they told me they were out of carsThey decided to give me the corolla and they did not explain the car was a 2012, that it had cigarette smoke in it or that it had warped rotorsI signed paperwork before even seeing the carThey ought to be ashamed renting that car out for $70/dayIt was in terrible condition, it was a danger to drive, and it smelled something awfulThey told me there were no other carsSo I did not even think I could return that car as I had already signed papersAs far as turning in car late, I called to ask, and they did not answer their phone, nor did they return the message I left asking what to doNo legitimate car company rents out cars needing mechanical repair, with scratches and dents all over it, with food still in car, let alone charging top dollar for itI can rent a brand new corolla for $18/day at HertzThey took advantage of me and it was not OK Regards, [redacted]

Hello [redacted] , [redacted] here, touching base with you referring [redacted] ***, and her rental with our company, rental took place August 16th RA # Dodge Caravan, while rental contract was taking place, she was informed it was the only mini van available and that it had minor cosmetic issues, the car was in perfect condition from the interior, and mechanic wise as wellfurthermore, customer requested to drop off her rental after hours at a designated parking lot where they have a hour shuttle to the airport, this establishment charges us $dlls per day, we advise customers before we confirm drop off that dlls are charged for us to pick up the vehicleFurthermore customer requested to add additional driver, which of course was gladly added at no cost,she addressed to us that the rental would be returned by additional driver, she failed to inform her family member what level of gas the rental was supposed to be dropped of with gas right under the full mark, it was checked in with right above 3/she is disputing dlls we are willing to issue $back Please let us know if there are any further questions

I rented a car at Horizon Rent A Car emhana group Incat San Diego Ave, San Diego, CA, 11/3/at 4:38p.mAt the counter they told me they only had a van & a Corolla availThey decided to give me the CorollaThey said it was their last vehicleWhen we did the walk through, the car was visibly damaged in paint, bumps, cracks in the bumper front and backThe inside had an air freshner in it, I asked that the air freshner be taken outLater after leaving the lot, the freshner had dissipated, the car smelled strongly of cigarette smokeThe inside of the car had crumbs, it had shells of sunflower seeds in the box in between the front car seatsI drove it until SundayI noticed when driving on the freeway that the brakes vibrated strongly at high speeds, indicating to me that the rotors were warpedIt was very hard to control on highwaysI did not notice that effect until I drove it to Alpine Saturday evening and was on my way out of town to an eventI drove back Sunday

I rented a van Aug.16-At pick up the tank was as 7/8, the mileage was off by miles, and several pieces of exterior trim were missing All of this was pointed out"No problem, we will take care of you, it is all good." We also asked about returning the van before store hours as we had an early flightWe were given the address of a partner rental coto return to and they would shuttle to the airport At NO point was a charge mentioned for this and it is not in the paperworkMy $deposit had $withheld for this and $withheld for the gas being at 7/8, the agreed upon amountI did contact ***, the same guy I had talked to on the 16th and he said he would refund the drop off charge because he couldn't remember if he had told us about this charge or notSo far that hasn't happenedI have a picture of the odometer/gas tank at the return to text to him but the phone number I had just called was no longer working

Rented a car 10/from this company after being referred by another car rental place Fox rental, from the airport whom claimed they did not have anymore cars
Someone from Horizon picked my daughter and I up from the airport car rental in a car that smelled like cigarettes The sale associate claimed the car we came in was the last car available Since my daughter and I were driven there I was a little desperate
There was a cigarette burn in the seat The breaks did vibrate when stopping It was not safe or appropriate for a yr old I ended up returning the rental earlyThe associate, whom claimed he was the owner was upset and gave me plenty of attitude but in the end did cancel the rental
months later, this week, they charged my card $ I called my bank and reported fraudulent charges

Hello ***, *** here again from Horizon Rent A CarOn Friday November 3rd 2017, *** *** *** rented a car from our rental company we explained to her that we were sold out and left with two cars that were available, a compact and a minivan, she wanted the compact, we
explained to her that the vehicle was an older model, a Toyota Corolla, customer agreed and signed for her rental agreementFurther more, she rendered our services for the two complete days, we would have accommodated her with a different car, and/ or canceled or voided her contract, failing to call to bring her issues to our attention, and returning on the day of her returned date demanding her money back, this would be out of the question. Our company would gladly issue a refund if our car broke down on her while she had possession of the vehicle or returned during or before date / time due in.her deposit was returned in fullmy apologies for any inconvenience to Revdex.com, and disputing customer. *** ***Horizon Rent A Car

the car was in perfect condition from the interior, and mechanic wise as well. furthermore, customer requested to drop off her rental after hours at a designated parking lot where they have a 24 hour shuttle to the airport, this establishment charges us $10 dlls per day, we advise customers before we confirm drop off that 10 dlls are charged for us to pick up the vehicle. Furthermore customer requested to add additional driver, which of course was gladly added at no cost,she addressed to us that the rental would be returned by additional driver, she failed to inform her family member what level of gas the rental was supposed to be dropped of with gas right under the full mark, it was checked in with right above 3/4. she is disputing 20 dlls we are willing to issue $10 back Please let us know if there are any further questions
