NOTE: THERE WAS AN
ERROR ON THE RESPONSE PAGE AND I LOST MY RESPONSE TO HOSEA PRODUCTIONS; PLEASE
INCLUDE THIS INFORMATION IN MY REBUTAL TO HOSEA PRODUCTIONS.5/3/2016Revdex.comFrom: *** ***Complaint #: ***Subject: My response
to Hosea ProductionsREASONS I DO NOT
ACCEPT OFFER FROM HOSEA PRODUCTIONS-Things we are not in control of; this is Hosea Productions’
excuse for their concert on April, 24, Their concert was the most
horrible event I have ever attendedThe Security Guards were rude with the
people who decided to get up and get in line to get their refundsThe MC
announced at 5:pm that if we got up at that moment, we would get full
refundsSince the MC was representing Hosea Productions, this statement on the
part of the MC makes Hosea Productions a company that does not stick to their
word; When the MC stated this, I know the wife and husband (owners of HP) heard
him, yet they only returned a partial refundAs a business, HP could have been
in control of the situation if they had responded correctly, or ethically as a
companyThe correct thing to do was to give full refundsThis shows that the
company cares about its customers and potential future customersThe way the
company behaved on April 24, 2016, makes them appear that they only care about
making moneySince they have had *** *** and the QCs events times,
they should have known how to professionally behave this one timeWith
business, a response that things happen is not sufficient; HP did not handle
the consequences of this situation ethicallyHP could have controlled how they
handled the situationAnd, it is not my concern that “things happen”; they are
a business.-HP claimed that I saw the *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** I did not see them because I was in line outside;
Standing in line is not enjoying a concert; at this point I was focused on
getting my refund back; HP appear to be liars to make their side appear as
though they did everything ethicallyAs I stated in my initial complaint
against HP, after the first three performers, I got up and went to the back of
auditorium to get my refundMy rebuttal is that Hosea Productions owe me $
for a terrible concert.-At no point was I belligerent and disrespectful; I was
professional and I did not use any profanityI was direct and to the point; I
did not bit my tongueI looked them (HP- husband and wife) directly in their
eyes and I told them that I was going to put a Revdex.com complaint against themI am
a direct and truthful person, and from my life experience, most people do not
like it when they are challenged or questioned about something they did not do
correctlyHP did not like me pointing out that they were unethical and
unprofessionalThe husband stated that he did not like to be threatened and
that he was not going to give me my refundObviously, he did not know the
difference between a threat and a promiseMy promise to him was that I was
going to report his company to the Revdex.com, which I did make good on that promise
I then told him that if I did not get my refund, I would immediately call
The wife then told her husband to give me my partial refund.-The young lady who is mentioned in the HP response was my
sisterShe is my witness that I was professional but stood my groundI take
it that no one ever challenged HP before- there is a first time for everything
That nice lady also put a complaint against HP; there are two complaintsI was
not the only one to file a Revdex.com complaint; I know my sister filed a Revdex.com
complaint also; I was sitting beside her when she went online and submitted it
HP will get her complaint shortly-HP used God and *** *** to play on the audienceHP
(husband and wife) and the security guards were saying that we should not worry
about getting a refund and instead pray for *** ***As Christians, we
should not speak up and question them on their partial refundI love the Lord
but HP is representing their selves as a business; as a business, they are
supposed to behave ethically.-In rebuttal, HP did not do the ethical thingThey should
have given me a full refund; I went to specifically see *** *** and his
groupRegardless of all the other singers, if *** *** was not part of the
program, I would not have purchased the ticketI knew he was experiencing
health problems; for this reason, I wanted to see him in concert before he had
to stop singingI also know that one person came miles just to see *** *** (my cousin)I want this complaint
to stay on record at Revdex.com for the duration of allotted yearsPotential
customers need to see what happened on April 24, 2016, and how HP unethically
handled the failed concert.-*** ***

This individual was the only one of 139 people we refunded money to, who complained became so belligerent, disrespectful, combative and close to be expelled from the facility without a refund at all, were it not for the young lady who accompanied her who was in fact trying to be the calming voice and speaking up for her.  She was the only one of 139 people acting in appropriately, everyone else in the line behind her were laughing when she exited the building.

Review: On 4/24/16 I went to the "A DAY OF THE QC'S" concert. It advertised that [redacted] would be the headliner group. The week before on local TV, the commercal advertised that [redacted] would be here in Richmond on 4/24/16. The concert was hosted by Hosea Productions. The concert started at 4 pm. At 5:20 pm, the MC Johnny B[redacted] announced that [redacted] would not be there. Mr. B[redacted] gave the story that [redacted] was going through a situation. B[redacted] also stated that if anyone wanted a full refund, they needed to get up at that moment and go to the rear of the auditorium and get their refund. I got up along with my party of two other people and headed to the rear of auditorium. Once in the line awaiting my refund, I find out that Hosea Productions were only giving by partial refunds. Reason: that we had already saw 3 groups. I believe that I should get a full refund based on the following reasons: Hosea Productions knew before the concert started that [redacted] would not be there. The MC Johnny B[redacted] in announcing that the group would not be able to make concert, played the no-show off as if it happened at the last minute. B[redacted] was deceptive to the audience in this attempt to cover no-show. If it happened at the last minute, Hosea Productions was well prepared for the partial refunds. They had enough cash on hand for the refunds. It appeared half the people attending stood in line for refunds. Normally, having this large amount of cash on hand at a concert is not normal; it was planned; in this sense, this was evidence that they knew the night before. When I questioned the owners of Hosea Productions (Beverly F** and husband), Beverly mentioned that things happen with agreements. Then she did not say anymore. The concert was advertised based on [redacted] being there. Hosea Productions did not come through with what they advertised. [redacted] was the Headliner of show. HP was deceptive and unethical in their business dealings.Desired Settlement: Hosea Productions promoted, pushed, and publicly advertised that [redacted] would be there.

They build up the expectation that customers would see [redacted]. HP knew before start of concert that [redacted] would not attend. Instead, they played the audience in an attempt to keep proceeds. Hosea Productions was not professional, ethical, and forthcoming in how they handled concert. For these reasons, they should have given a full refund, not a partial refund.

To Whom It May Concern:

Review: I attended the concert of [redacted] on 4/24/16. This was the headliner group; advertised the whole week before event. The concert was hosted by Hosea Productions. It started at 4 pm, the MC Johnny B[redacted] announced at 5:20 pm that [redacted] would not be there due to a situation. He stated that if we leave at 5:20 pm, we would get a full refund. Once in line, Hosea Productions only gave us a partial refund. Hosea Productions had a large amount of money on hand for refunds; this is evidence that they knew b4 the show started that [redacted] would not be there. Hosea Productions played the audience as though they did not know. By Hosea Productions acting deceptive, being fraudulent and unethical in their business practices, I want my full refund back.Desired Settlement: Refunded the reminder amount of $10.00. Partial refund of $15.00 was returned at event.
