Mr. [redacted] came into our medical warehouse and placed a $500 deposit for a OEC 9000 C armon May 28 0f 2015. The deposit for the item C arm was to hold it and pay an additional $2,000and the cost of the repair work needed to get it working. On August 13 Mr. [redacted] came in and payed the balance of...

the order. The cost of the item was discounted $500 to helpcover the cost of the diagnostic work on the C arm. The item was sold not working withthe understanding repair work would be needed. Working used C arms range in pricefrom $8,000 to $15,000 depending on year of manufacture and amount of life on X ray tube. The C Arm was then delivered by our company to Radiographic Equipment Services, Inc.,a C arm diagnostic company in August of 2015. Radiographic Equipment Services, Inc performeda diagnostic test and informed Mr. [redacted] what work was needed to get the C arm back in service.Mr. [redacted] then made an arrangement with a second company called "Hill Imaging" in Escondidoto make the needed repairs. He did not want to pay Hill Imaging for the repair work and toldus he wanted to get the parts for the C arm himself. We informed Mr. [redacted] that we were no longerable to pick up the item and deliver it a third time and that he would need to make other arrangements. In November 2015 Mr [redacted] called and asked for a refund which we denied for the following reasons.1. The C arm was bought in "as is" condition in August and the item was not under a warranty2. The C arm sat in our warehouse for nearly 3 months before the final payment was made -during that time Mr [redacted] could have researched the age of the machine and alsocancelled.
