The maid locked me out of the room as if I were a street walker.I suffered immensely from it including getting so ill that I had to be seen at Pavia.
I stayed at El Convento both for leisure and work on business. On the day that I had a major meeting on the island with my cousin [redacted] the maid locked me out of the room as if I were a street walker because she could not understand that I had given her my credit card but the gentleman who rented me the hotel room thought to consult with his Manager about the charge to be made to me as a government employee. She did so with malice and I suffered immensely from it including getting so ill that I had to be seen at Hospital Pavia in Santurce as an emergency and at Florida Hospital in Celebration, FL. The initial charge to my credit card a [redacted] was $321.55. The hotel put a hold on my money. However, the General Manager, Mr. [redacted] agreed with me that a one night credit for " guest inconvenience" should credited to my account. After that, because my issues on the island had to be delayed because of this inconvenience, I stayed two extra days. At that point I started to see countless irregularities at the hotel which included: bathroom not working, rotten apples and bananas being served on the third floor to guests on their leisure lounge and other matters. I related this to a staff member who saw that an apple in my room was so rotten it had worms. He proceeded to remove all fruits from the service area. After that I once again saw that some employees on the front desk would not speak to anyone in English. I saw two foreigners being told" : Can you sat it in Spanish." At that point I intervened to speak to them in English they were very grateful because it dealt with going to the beach in El Condado area because this hotel has no beach. However, they never told me about that because I was a Puerto Rican and I know hotels in that area are public since a long time ago.

Moreover, on a night in which I went to the hot tub on the top floor, I saw two gentlemen lounging there. They engaged in conversation with me and they told me that they were not guests of the hotel but men allowed to enter there because the staff(female) had allowed them to get into the premises to use the pool. I reported that too. I also gave them a Risk Management assessment in a meeting in which I also told them that I had suffered immensely at the hotel. They listened and answered that they understood but had the audacity to tell ,me that the day I reported to them, I was not covered by any credit card when I had given them a second credit card" A [redacted] for assurance that my bill would be paid in full. None the less, my cousin, [redacted] the owner of BGPR asked me to allowed him to pay for an extra day because I became ill from having been subjected to all the treatment I had there while I was agues. He submitted his credit card number exactly as I was told. Unfortunately, they lied and he had to send a fax only after I had to demand, once again, that eh be called to find out if he was willing to pay.
I further assessed that some employees were doing extraordinary jobs and asked that they be thanked. On the morning on the day I was about to leave the island on November 5, 2011 at 2:30 AM I became violently ill with vomiting. I called the front desk. They called a house doctor at a personal charge of $150. He came in. Gave me an injection, agreed that I could leave IF I stayed there for 2 hours drinking a medication that he ordered. Upon leaving, he told the front desk to pick up the prescription from my room and talked it to any pharmacy. They did not. At 7 I called, they said that the pharmacy was not opened until 8:30 but they told me that wrong pharmacy since Walgreens does not have a pharmacy. Eventually they brought it. I took a dose and felt so ill that I could not even stand. I asked to be transported to the hospital. They did not know what to do and passed [redacted] buck to another manager. I called my MD doctor in Houston was told who to go to there: my nephew and then I was put in a cab only after been taken down the stairs because the eleva
