our correspondence with Mr*** I feel that we were very transparent in moving his account from a month to month billing cycle to a yearly billing cycleWe offered Mr*** a yearly billing cycle so the discount we offered him would go even further than applying the discount to a month to month billing cycleWe did not make changes to Mr***'s account until he confirmed that he wanted us to charge him for the entire yearAfter Mr***'s confirmation of charging him for the entire year, we sent an additional correspondence verifiing the changes we had madeWe did not receive any notice from Mr*** that this is not what he wanted doneThe invoice also clearly states that the service begins Aug/06/and ends Aug/06/2017.In order for me to apply a pro-rated refund to Mr*** credit card Mr*** needs to submit a cancellation according to the instructions we sent Sep/07/2:33:59PM.I've subscribed to the cancellation correspondence sent on Sep/07/2:33:59PM and will receive notice as soon as Mr*** provides the verified cancellation requestOnce I receive all necessary information and verification for the cancellation, I will process the cancellation and apply a pro-rated refund to Mr***'s credit card.Please let me know if there are any questions or concerns, happy to help anyway I can.Adam

To avoid this confusion moving forward I have changed the Web Hosting service to renew in July so both services renew at the same time. This is a standard practice among web hosting providers on less expensive web hosting plans. More expensive host plans include a dedicated IP which is dedicated to a single client. Each web hosting plan we offer clearly states whether a dedicated IP is included or not (https://www.midphase.com/website-hosting/#overview). From what I can tell in the ticket history is that we recommend that the client upgrade to a dedicated IP address, this is not a change in a web hosting plan, only an add-on feature.Shared web hosting is an excellent option for many people. Millions of web sites are run on shared hosting plans across the internet and work great for many people. Like anything else there are limitations to shared hosting plans and do not fit everyones needs. For example, many people are fine with the limitations of sharing an IP address so are not.
