I purchased a bunk bed on February 29, 2020 from Signature Furniture my expected pick up day was March 23,2020. Well due to the Covid the business was closed permanently and Hot Buys furniture and Mattress took over all their accounts because they use the same warehouse. Well my husband and I have contact Hot Buys from a number left on the door at Signature Furniture. We were informed by phone that they had our furniture at the Madison store and we could pick up the next day. Once we arrive they told us it wasn't there and they were mistaken. We were then informed that they would have it within 3 days. After going back and forth calling and showing up to the store several times over 3 months we continued to get another day. A man by the name of Mr. informed me that I could go the warehouse myself in Georgia and get it my self.(Seem like Other stores accounts aren't really a priority) When asked for a number or address I was told he would find it( still have yet to receive it). Mr. also let me know that they did not want to take over the accounts and was simply doing it out the kindness of his heart but he really would rather not deal with it any longer. I asked how could I get a refund he said I didn't give them any money so they couldn't refund me. I could take that situation up with Signature Furniture (who is no longer in business).

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) I really would like them to follow through with getting my furniture or my money back. I've never had to jump through so many hoops about anything ever nor will I just allow 761.91 to just be thrown away when My children need a bed.

11/15/2019: Purchased a dining room set and paid cash amount $1058.91. Promised Delivery one week. 12/12/2019. No delivery.
On 11/15/2019, I purchased a dining room set and paid cash amount $1058.91. Order # *** - Item D647-124. I was told by the salesman, *** that the delivery and set up would be 11/21/2019. No one called or showed up. I called the store and was told that it was delayed and they would try to deliver prior to Thanksgiving, and at the latest would be by the end of the following week 11/28/2019 or 11/29/2019. I was upset that had not been able to keep their delivery date and asked to cancel. They told me there would be a restocking fee of %30. I agreed that would have till then to deliver. No one called or showed up. I called again and given an absolute date of 12/7/2019. No call, no show. I called and was told that that had finally received it, but had to be scheduled for delivery. They did not even have the item when they wanted a restocking fee due! I called numerous times and got a message that I needed and access code to complete the call. I had an associate visit store and they said it was delayed because of Christmas orders, that the order showed back-ordered on the sales order, (not on my copy), and would be another week. No mention of back order required at time of sale. I reached out on 12/11/2019 and told it would be yet another, maybe the following Tuesday 12/17/2019. They lie, and manipulate the truth. I want all my money back.
