I was provided this company after a Mass Save inspection to help insulate my house. In addition to insulation they installed 2 bathroom fan vents. Over the winter I contacted them informing them that their vents were letting cold air blow back through the fans into the house. At that time they told me that they actually were installing a newer model of vent due to complaints received and would install the new ones. It has been over a year since the initial install and I have contacted them countless times since and can not receive a response.
All products used and installed are under mass save rules and standards. If you would like different products used we would be more then happy to come out privately with a new contract and replace with the product of your choice. We or any other ventilation company can install vents of your choice. But you got what the contract between you and mass save called for.... not sure what there is to complain about? We are the top insulation company in the state and booked out about 2 months in the slow season. To change vents there will be new labor and product costs and you would have to call and schedule a new date for us to come out and preform the work which was never done. You can complain about the vents not working (on your standards) but those are the ones you agreed to have installed through mass save at the discount of 75% off. If you're unhappy with the vents the program uses then hire a private contractor to install the ones on your choice... If we work under Mass Save all products and installations have to be done 100% their way. Mass Save sets approved products, they come out and write up estimate, you agree to contract and signed it... We get sent contract and have to follow it using they products in the way they want them installed.
