I have been ordering from Hot Miami Styles for many years!!! I placed an order from them over the weekend, today I received a refund email for my full purchase.
I contacted Hot Miami Styles to verify the reason for the refund. I was told because I have returned to many items in the past, I can no longer purchase from them.
They do not have a local store that you can actually go in and try on their merchandise to verify the material, fit and sizing as they state. They have a 14 day return policy which states:
We will gladly accept your return for a refund, store credit or exchange within 14 business days along with this return form.
Returned items must meet these requirements:
â¢Returned within 14 business days of receipt of receiving your order.
â¢In original packaging, unworn condition, free of make-up stains and free of odor.
â¢Accompanied by this return form.
â¢Shoes must be repacked in their shoe box(es) and placed in a protective box.
Non-returnable items include (refunds/exchanges/store credit not accepted): Formal gowns, sale items, accessories, and undergarments including lingerie, swimwear and bodysuits.
Shipping: Customer is responsible for shipping fees to send the return back to Hot Miami Styles and for re-shipping for exchanges.
Return Processing time: Once we have received your package, your return will be processed within 3-5 business days. You will be notified via email once your return has been processed. If you have requested a refund, please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from us (typically 2-5 business days). Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
I spoke with [redacted] which is a manager who stated that in their return policy it states they can refuse orders, which it does not state.
There are just some things that do not fit nice or do not look as pictured when you do order online and if the return policy states you have 14 days to return items then this should not apply. It is VERY insulting and I do not believe this is at all understandable. Maybe I would understand if I just started ordering from them but that is not the case.
Be very aware when purchasing from this site. Not everything is as pictured and not as they state fit. You just might not be able to order and return from them if you order to much and return to much. I really didn't know there was an amount of items that can be returned mostly when I have been ordering with this company for more than 5 years.
If you read some of the other reviews will can see that there are a lot of reviews in which state "Sizing is sometimes hit and miss but something that's helped me is to actually read the material in the item description, not all bandage dresses are super stretchy so often you may need to order a size bigger depending on the variations of material"

This is very inappropriate from a company in which I once thought to be a very good company to do business with. Maybe it should be noted in your policy that there is a maximum amount of purchasing and returning you can do or you should re-write your return policy.
I just received my dress from Hot Miami Styles and it is perfect!!! I am skeptical of buying clothing online, but I took a chance, and it paid off big time. So pleased with my purchase. The dress is of great quality and fits like a glove. I will be ordering from the company again and again.
