[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:To date I have not received a check to cover the brake issue discussed with Hot Ride motorsThe letter the business sent you claimed there was no misrepresentation of the vehicle in the ad---here is a link to their ad on [redacted] showing in their pictures an odometer reading of miles Here's the link to their ad on ***: http://www.***.com [redacted] If you scroll down to nearly the bottom you'll see the picture showing the miles This, in my opinion totally misrepresents the SUV and distorts to value To date Hot Ride Motors dismisses my claim concerning the mileage discrepancyBased on that information provided by Hot Ride motors I purchased the SUV When the truck arrived the odometer reading was not displaying due to the brake problem After having this SUV in the shop for diagnostics I was told by my mechanic the instrument cluster in the SUV I purchased has a different instrument cluster from another truck-thus showing lower than actual mileage The actual miles on the SUV I purchased from Hot Ride motors is not 80k it is over 120k greately effecting the value of the truck.Here's the link to a VIN report showing the last service mileage at on 10/10/2016: https://www[redacted] Regards, [redacted]

This letter is to confirm that we, Lars Group, IncDBA Hot Rides Motors, have sold [redacted] VIN: [redacted] via [redacted] to [redacted] who resides [redacted] Harrison, OH ***.Please review the attachments:exhibit - [redacted] listing for the vehicle sold,exhibit - signed paperwork between us and the customer,exhibit - partial refund agreementAs with all of our vehicles, the [redacted] was available for inspection by the customer before the saleThe customer has decided to purchase a year-old vehicle without him (her) personally inspecting it nor arranging a third party inspectionThe customer states that the miles are higher than listedIn fact, the vehicle was sold with “EXEMPT” miles and “AS IS", there was NO implied WARRANTY and so, there was no misrepresentation of this vehicleThis is clearly stated in the paperwork that was signed by the customerFor your convenience please review exhibits and We strongly recommend all our buyers to inspect a vehicle in person or, if unable to do so, arrange a third-party inspection before placing their bidsThe customer by placing his winning bid has agreed and accepted our terms and conditions listed in the exhibit and declined prior vehicle inspection.Again, we did not misrepresent the [redacted] in our descriptionIn good faith, we have a refund agreement with the customer resolving a “brake issue” with the [redacted] (attached).However the customer is responsible for following the terms and conditions.Please let us know if there’s anything else you’d need from us to resolve this issue.Thank you!Sincerely,

To whom it may concern;We're sorry to hear that our customer washaving problems with his vehicle, but but we want to assure you that we did our best to help him out and resolve the issue in the best way we could.Please review what our terms and conditions state, which [redacted] accepted and agreed to by placing his winning bid: "It is solely buyer's responsibility to satisfy himself as to the condition of the vehicle PRIOR to bidding You are more than welcome to inspect vehicle in person or if you are unable to do so, you can arrange a third party inspection using *** service hours before the end of the auction All phone calls, test-drives are welcome! Please call us to arrange a test-drive or san inspection All power equipment such as windows, mirrors, locks, radio, lights, breaks etcare buyer's responsibility to have inspected or ask BEFORE auction ends." Unfortunately, [redacted] did not ask us any questions nor called us before the auction ended nor arranged a third party inspection to satisfy himself to vehicle's condition When he came to pick it up he test-drove it, inspected the car and satisfied himself to its condition Had it been significantly not as described, he could have decided not to complete the deal There was no sound from the radio and we decided to issues a partial refund to [redacted] in the amount of $just to keep him happy and not to lose the deal It was a courtesy, but not an obligation as it was clearly stated in our terms and conditions that we did not guarantee power equipment, including the radio (please review attached terms and conditions for your consideration) Then we successfully completed the transaction and buyer happily left with the vehicle There was no kind of a verbal nor written agreement as to the further reimbursement of any non-working/missing part/options as the vehicle was sold AS IS with NO WARRANTY More likely, [redacted] misunderstood it from the beginning and was confused during the whole process of trying to get additional reimbursement This information was given to [redacted] over the phone when he communicated with our representatives, which he refused to accept no matter what the documentation that he signed said Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with regarding this complaint Sincerely, Date: 12/28/

I am rejecting this response because:1. To date I have not received a check to cover the brake issue discussed with Hot Ride motors2. Review: We purchased a vehicle on [redacted] where it had the Actual mileage listed as 31,000. After completing a [redacted], we discovered the mileage was above 150,000 in 2006. The dealer relisted the vehicle with the same low mileage after we told him we would not purchase a misrepresented vehicle.Desired Settlement: We would like the auction cancelled on [redacted] and would like this individual to stop scamming potential buyers.
