Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The owner of the business lied in their response Their records specifically called for them to not trim the nails and I reminded them The owner of Hot Rod Dog acknowledged this at the time of dropping off Pepper that the nails would not be cut They only trimmed one nail due to it bleeding upon trimming it Obviously they then realized they had made a mistake again This is the second time they have made my dogs nails bleed The only call I made was to complain about injuring my dog I also stopped at the shop to complain since they didn't answer the phone While at the shop the only response was sorry we forgot As for them implying that I was abusive to them and my dog is neglected, that is a lie and I will not be doing business with them again I recommend finding other options and not use Hot Rod Dog The bottom line is they injured my dog and they were fully aware of the instructions to not cut the nails I have pictures of the nail damage and the only threat was to take legal recourse for their neglect Regards, [redacted]

When a dog has been neglected by it's owner for so long, we at Hot Rod Dog, take it upon ourselves to decide what is best for the dogPepper's nails were so long, she was walking with great discomfort
Pepper's owner asked for a "restoration" ; Bath, Blow out, Brush, Anal glands, Nail trim, Potty patches, Pad trim, Haircut and StylePepper received the full groom, including the nail trim
When confronting staff about the nail trim, Pepper's owner was verbally abusive, and continued the abuse with a threatening phone callHot Rod Dog will refund the cost of the nail trim; $

Hot Rod Dog is the best grooming facility in all of Northern Colorado. The groomer [redacted] is amazing with the animals and is an excellent groomer. I would never take my animals any where else.

I am rejecting this response because:
The owner of the business lied in their response.  Their records specifically called for them to not trim the nails and I reminded them.  The owner of Hot Rod Dog acknowledged this at the time of dropping off Pepper that the nails would not be cut.  They only trimmed one nail due to it bleeding upon trimming it.  Obviously they then realized they had made a mistake again.  This is the second time they have made my dogs nails bleed.  
The only call I made was to complain about injuring my dog.  I also stopped at the shop to complain since they didn't answer the phone.  While at the shop the only response was sorry we forgot.
