On 3/7/the customer contacted us and we did a troubleshoot It was determined that it was probably the jet pump but that he would need a service call On 3/11/16, our service tech went and inspected hot tubTold him at that tine he did need a new pump Customer asked if it was
in warranty and was told he would check when he returned to the office and then let him know Technician followed up with the customer and told him it was not in warranty and did he still want to proceed He did, so we ordered the pump
He returned with the pump on 3/24/and installed the pump At that time the customer did not want to keep the old pump The next day the customer called and said the spa was not working Our technician went back up there and found that the customer had activated the spa lock feature which keeps the spa from working They live about miles from our store, but we did not charge them for that visit
After they received the bill, they called and said that they thought the spa was still under warranty The customer stated that Donna told him it was under warranty She has worked here for over years and would never misquote a spa's warranty period He did send a check in but then called and said he wanted his old pump back Gavin told him that it might have been scraped already, but that he would check and let him know He called him back the next day and said the technician had put it in the warehouse with some other old parts and that he was welcome to come and get it This call was made yesterday, just a day or after he called in
Hopefully this will clear things up The old pump is waiting for him to pick it up, or we can drop it off when we are in his area
